Chapter 7: First School Day (updated)

Paul finally came out, and got in the car, then we drove off.

It only took us about 2 minutes to get there, because the school was right around the corner.. i really don't understand why they just don't let me walk? maybe they're scared that something may happen to me, or maybe they just want to drive me.. i honestly have no clue, but oh well it saves me the walk..

As we reached the school, i seen lots of kids laughing and talking, i gotta admit, i was very nervous i had knots in my stomach, and soon as i opened the car door, shevers ran down my back.. i quickly thought to myself, what if they don't like me? what if im alone everyday? what if i have no friends? the thoughts were just going threw my mind, and the more i thought about it, the more shevers i got.

I slightly, walked over to the step at the school, and sat down and watched all the kids laughing, playing and talking, just wishing that the bell would ring.. But as i was sitting there, another girl walked over to me and softly said " Hi, I'm Jenny, You're the new girl right?" I replied. "Hi, I'm Megan. & Yes i am." she added on. " Okay, well I'll be the one to show you around okay? " " okay " i quickly added on.

*DINGGG*

the bell went off.

then all the kids lined up at the door, waiting for the teacher to come, as the teacher opened the door every single kid ran in, and I was squised in between everyone.

The teacher yelled " SINGLE FILE PLEASE " and all the kids got into a neat line one by one. The teacher finally let us go into the school, and as we got into the school, Jenny caught up with me and grabbed my arm and started to walk, "Don't worry, I'll show you where to go" she said. So, i just tugged along. As we reached our classroom door, Jenny stopped and said " Would you like to sit by me today? you know, so you don't need to sit by strangers, because it can be awkward if you don't know them." i replied quickly " yeah, i was going to sit by you anyway " we both went into the classroom, and sat in the very back, i could barely see the board because my vision was about 50% and i never had glasses or contacts, or anything to straighten my vision up so it remained bad and gotten worse over the years. But i was okay, i was sure I'd do fine.

Moments passed by, and our teacher finally came around with some work sheets, she gave us all a word search and cross word, i was really confused because i never did these things before, and i don't know how. But, i didn't wanna tell Jenny that, because that was be embarassing, saying i don't know how to do a word search? or a cross word!!

So, i just let on like i knew how to do it, and pretended i was working, when really i was just watching Jenny, and copying what she did. I'm usaully not the one to cheat, but i was in desperate need today.

The bell rang for lunch, and as i packed my things, i seen Paul walk in my classroom. He looked at me, then silently waited. I walked over to him quickly, then he grabbed my hand slightly and we went back to the car, and Only Niall and Liam were there, I'm not quite sure where the rest of the boys were, probably at home still sleeping or something....

Paul told me we were going to a resteraunt for lunch, then i was staying home for the rest of the afternoon, so i agreed. I mean, i would like to go back sense it is my first day and i finally had a friend, so i wanted to hang out more with her. But, i was also fine with going home for the afternoon, because i could just see her again tomorrow anyway.

As we reached the Resteraunt i noticed it was a unfamilar place, but i didn't mind because i love discovering new places, and eating at new places too. It was called "Papa J's Burgers" It was not a fancy resteraunt that's for sure, you could just tell by the name of it, anything that has burgers in the title, must not be fancy. But, i love a good burger expecially with some bacon and cheese. mmmm.

I got in there, and Paul asked me what i wanted, so i told him a Bacon cheese burger, and a large Coke to drink. So he ordered it for me, and we got our food and actually ate in his car for once. Then the boys started talking to me, saying that i was going to take a few days off of school. So i quickly asked why, and they told me we were going on a Vacation to California, so they can do a concert. So i agreed, because i never been on vacation before and it sounded really exciting. They told me we were leaving tomorrow, and that they packed my things already when i was in school.
