Beyond Reach

I am the earth
And you are the sky
By no means
We shall ever meet

I am the desert
And you are the rain
How much ever the winds may try
I shall never have even a drop of you

I am the moon
You are the sun
You look at me and smile
But I know you will never be mine

Your the sand
I am the fist
How much ever I hold tight
You will slip away in time

Like the two shores
Like the two poles
Even though we are two bits of one soul
The twain shall never meet.

I thought I will write a few lines with broken heart mood.
