I fall behind in class
Not because I lack the intelligence needed, I'm actually really very smart, honers student and everything.
I have ADHD but the teachers see it as an act of rebellion, because obviously I'm tapping my foot and looking outside to piss you off. Adults don't think you can not pay attention and be smart at the same time.
Albert Einstein, Leonardo DeVinci, Thomas Edison, Graham Bell... They all are some of the best known scientists and mathematicians of all time, all of them had ADHD, they where all smart as hell. Why can't we be? I can ace a stupid test but still, I am told I need to focus or I'll never get anywhere in life, adults don't get that i can't focus on their monotone voices talking about where to put a dot on your paper, maybe if you encouraged us I would try a little harder.
At least the next time im doubted on my intelligence I'll know its them that are to dense to know I'm smarter then I seem
