Who Will It Be?

Costume Party

I put a little Easter egg in here, so try to look out for it!

Midoriya's POV

"Todoroki! Are you going to the costume party tonight!" I ask him "and how about you, Kacchan?"

"I don't know, it depends on whether I can sneak past my 'father' or not" Todoroki puts the book he was reading down, and looks at me "Do you know who's throwing it?"

"I think it's Kirishimas' party" Kacchan spoke up "And there's no way in hell that I'm gonna miss it!" His face lights up. Kacchan has always liked Kirishima, but he just ended up heartbroken when he found out that Kirishima had a boyfriend, but that didn't stop their unbreakable friendship. It made me jealous in a way, Kacchan has known me since we were kids, and he doesn't even consider me a friend....

"How about you, Midoriya? Are you going?" Todoroki broke my thoughts

"Yeah, my mom wants me to go so I can socialize and just relax, well that's what she told me, I think she just wants to have a girls night" I add a laugh at the end. I actually know that my mom is going out with her friends, she was the one who suggested the party in the first place.

"I better not have to stick near this shit at the party" I barely hear Kacchan mumble, and that leads to awkward silence. 

"Then I'll try to sneak out, but I heard that the party is going to have alcohol?" Todoroki breaks the awkward silence..

"Yeah, but he said it wasn't strong" Kacchan says looking away, towards Kirishima

"Midoriya, you better not drink any, alcohol isn't good for the brain and messes with you" I just nod, not really paying attention to what the others are really saying.

There's a party with alcohol? No surprise... This is a big high school.... But we're mostly fifteen? And how did he get it? Through his parents? I don't know... Most likely. There's a law saying we can't get alcohol until a curtain age, and I know that its definitely not fifteen..

"Oi Deku, shut the hell up" Kacchan says, cutting me out my thoughts, which apparently were mumbles

"S-Sorry" Is all I managed to speak, feeling my face heat up. I glance at Todoroki, and I see clear annoyance, and hear a small 'tsk'

"Well Midoriya, what are you dressing up as?" Todoroki asks

"I'm gonna be a ghost, don't want to try being scary! How about you guys?" I ask, glancing at both of them

"I'm going to be a vampire, looking for his next meal" Todoroki says, adding a wink I think directed at me? Is he flirting? With me? I feel my face heat up. Kacchan clears his throat, and glares at Todoroki, with a clear cringe

"I'm gonna be a wolf. Ready to defend it's owner" Kacchan looks down, at me, with a slight blush? How odd... "Well gotta go, mom wants me to get candy and a bowl for it" He says, rolling his eyes, then leaves me with Todoroki

"Why do you like him?" Is the first thing I hear when Kacchan is out of sight

"W-What?! I-I-I don't like h-him!" I blush into my hands, but do I like him? I want to be friends like we used to, yes, but d-dating?! I can't see it! Yes I can... Now I can't get it out if my mind!

"It's obvious that you do, just the thought of you two dating made your face red. I don't like him, he hurts you! How do you like that?" His voice is cold, full of anger and confusion, and his eyes resemble the anger mostly

"I-I d-don't k-know-"

"Why cant you just like me?" He cuts me off "I like you, Midoriya, I really do. Ever since the festival when you told me that I can live my own life outside of my fathers shadow, I've seen the world differently, seen you differently! I like you!" His hands make their way to mine, grabbing them gently "Will you please be my date to the party tonight? Just to see what I could do? Please just give me a chance"
