                                                                                        BEAST

ANASTASIAS POV:

I woke up to a tickling sensation in my neck, Xavier had his head buried inside my neck and was breathing in my scent, he had a ruffled hair and small pout on his lips, I giggled and ran my hands through his hair, he groaned and looked up at me, "good morning" he whispered, "hey love " I answered, we cuddled for a little more " we should probably get up" said Xavier, I made sad face and pouted, " come on now love don't make it harder for me, I promise you that we will go away soon," he said and kissed me deeply, as he tried to pull away I pulled him down and kissed him harder arching my back into him, he growled and griped my waist, going down my jaw and neck with kisses. I pulled away when I couldn't breathe any more, his eyes were golden, he kissed me one more time and got up, as we walked into the kitchen he stopped and got really serious, " my beast wants to get to know you in his natural form," I tensed at that, I knew Xavier would never harm me but seeing his beast was scary, but I wouldn't let Xavier see that, so I smiled, went over to him and hugged him, "don't worry everything will be fine" i told him, after we ate breakfast we both went to do our days works, after dinner we decided to take a walk in the wood with his beast present. Evening was approaching way to fast, and before I knew it I was walking down the little path leading into the woods with Xavier's hand around my waist. Scenario around me was beautiful, nature truly is magnificent, we didn't speak much both of us on the edge because of the upcoming event, I looked around forest and looked at hundred years old beautiful trees, I loved drawing them and I made a point to come out here in near future to draw them. We came to a stop, I looked in his eyes and they reassured me, if I was fidgeting before and had my doubts now I was sure that nothing could scare me away from Xavier now, I pecked him on the lips and he began dressing down, when he was in his boxers, he changed his stance and his bones began cracking, I couldn't look at it so I looked away when I looked back there in front of me magnificent creature that could rip me apart in seconds, but instead of being afraid I got closer to him slowly and carefully pot my palm on his head, beast purred and pushed his head into my hand, I chuckled and got closer to him, he sniffed my scent and laid down, I went with him and sat by his side, I patted his head, he purred again " such a scary beast likes to be petted" I giggled to myself, he playfully growled at that and nipped at my dress, I was sure he did it very carefully with jaws that big and powerful he could nipped my foot away. Suddenly something crazy went through my head and I decided to try it, when Xavier saw that look in my eyes he knew what I was up to, he lowered his head so I could climb on him and when I did he growled in warning as he took of, at first I squealed scared that I would fall of but as I got better grip I started to enjoy the ride, wind was flowing through my hair and everything seemed blur around us because of his speed, I felt one with nature if it is possible and one with my mate, I was fascinated, I buried my face in Xavier's fur and enjoyed ride.

After couple hours of playing and riding we came back to the palace, I was laughing at a joke Xavier told me, I was in a good and playful mood. As we went through the entrance guards bowed down to us, I still couldn't get used to people treating me like that but there was nothing I could do about that, I was a kings mate, I was their queen, as soon as we went in my assistant alia came to me and gave me reminder that I was going to visit orphanage tomorrow. We went into the bedroom I got dressed in his shirt and boxers and slid next to him in the bed, he pulled me against his chest and his heart beat lulled me to sleep.

It was late in the afternoon when I came in to the orphanage, no matter what I said Xavier refused my travelling without "army" to protect me, as much as I wanted to make them go away I got the point Xavier was coming from so I didn't fight much against him and gave in his demands, but as soon as they came with me into the orphanage kids became tense and that irked me, I talked to all of them and asked how they were adapting to changes, children are amazing creatures, so honest and so innocent, with them I was not a queen I was a mere human and it was refreshing, after being in the orphanage for couple of hours I realized that violet was nowhere to be found and I become nervous, I asked around about her and one of the nurses told me that violet had a flu and high fever, as soon as they told me that I asked nurse to take me to her, my heart ached as I saw her, her little face redden because of the fever and her little form shaking from cold, my heart ached for her, she reminded my sister so much and I just wanted to comfort her, I came closer to her and gathered her in my arms at first she whimpered but as she realized who I was she got quite and continued her sleep. I hugged her to my chest and started rocking her, she was the most adorable creature I have ever seen, I know me and Xavier agreed that adding a child into our relationship was way to early and I was way to young but I couldn't leave her here all alone, just mere thought of it brought pain to my heart, finally I made up my mind violet was coming home with me and that wouldn't change, I just hoped that Xavier would understand me and wouldn't get angry at me.
