"So, Toddy, do you frequently run into people on your skateboard?" Etta took a sip of her replacement coffee looking at Toddy across the table.

"Only the ones I find attractive" He replied chuckling, making her laugh as well.

Etta had quickly come to the conclusion in the 10 minutes they had been sitting in this coffee shop, that Toddy's smile was one of the most adorable things she had ever seen. His entire face would light up and his eyes would go all scrunchy.

Etta's attention was suddenly pulled away from Todd's Puppy dog eyes as he began to talk. "So, judging by that accent you're definitely not from around here, where are you from?" she felt warm at the genuine curiosity he seemed to have for her.

"I'm originally from Australia, a small town on the east coast of New South Wales." He looked intrigued at this revelation "why did you decide to move if you don't mind me asking'.

" I don't mind," she said smiling at his need for knowledge of her "I always wanted to travel and explore the world. I did a lot when I was little with my mum, around Australia and around the world. Australia's a really big place but I grew up in a really small part of it. I guess I just got bored of the idea that I would stay in the same place forever."

"why LA?"

"it's close to the beach, I grew up in a seaside town so I don't think I could be apart from the sea for too long." they stared at each other contemplating "well you seem to know so much about me, what about you Mister?" she looked at him expectantly.

"I was raised in Huntington beach, and now I live in LA and make videos on YouTube."

Etta laughed, "Wow very insightful, I feel like I've known you for years." Toddy smiled at her sarcastic tone.

"How did you get into making videos?" she looked quizzically at him.

"I started out on vine, I had a decent number of followers and I figured the next logical step would be to start a YouTube. I make vlogs."

"That's pretty cool, I'd love to do something like that but my life is far from entertaining"

"Well you never know, maybe it's about to be."

"Maybe"

They were with each other for what felt like the longest time. not every moment filled with chatter, but every moment meaningful, and as the sun began to set he put his arm around her shoulders.

"So, Miss Australia, can I get your number."

"You most certainly can Mister Skateboard, but I do have to enquire what you intend to do with it"

"Chuck it in the bin" Etta laughed and pulled away to look up at him. Toddy smiled down at her.

She leant back into him, nuzzling her face into his chest. He smelt of mint and axe body spray. He put his arms around her and they stood in their embrace.

"I really enjoyed myself today" She mumbled into his chest.

He rested his chin gently on top of her head, "me too".
