"This isn't some weird séance shit, right?" Ivy had asked, creeped out by the dark setting- red candles, littered in Marnie's room. Marnie smiled, and shook her head.Of course it wasn't for a séance, all though it did look like one, it was to set a vibe; but not the intentional murderous hue. Marnie was opting for something romantic.
Marnie hit Ivy on the shoulder, getting an ow, in response.
"You wanted to know what this-," Marnie pointed to the new letter, "Is. And I, your best friend, have decided to let you in on the beans." She concluded, itching to rip open the letter, wanting nothing more than to read the sweet lines of affection, for her.
Of course she presumed it to be another love letter; hoped it to be a confession of un-dying love.
Screw with it! Marnie thought, not wasting anytime explaining it.
Marnie hummed, smiling softly, tracing her shaking hand over the page. She sighed, oh goodness!
'You light up my world- like a nightlight, you keep me awake, when I can't sleep.
I want you to be mine, Marnie Gray.
But only if, I will be yours?Yours Truly,
- L.B'Marnie felt like falling- no she was falling. She was tumbling down, farther and farther, banging into rubbish; stupidly falling.
Every romantic line made her go faster, deeper- she was dreaming- no.
She was falling.
And she couldn't stop it.
