"(y/n)? what the hell r u doin 'ere?" He said letting me flee from the battle

"I don't know, maybe I was supposed to go on a date with you?"

He looked back at what he had prepared.

"uhm, the date isnt here. uhmm its at.....grillbz. yea........grillbz."

I chuckled. He was trying so hard to create a perfect romantic date, but in the end he just couldn't. Why did he even bother to make this? He's super lazy, I was almost sure that our date would be at Grillby's, and that's where we're actually going to have our date. Edgy grabbed my hand and teletransported us to Grillby's. He opened the door for me, and I entered the bar, then he came after me. As soon as I stepped in, I had the feeling of being watched. I gave a quick look to the environment only to see everyone smirking and whispering at each other while staring at me and Edgy. I was feeling a little bothered. Since there wasn't any table free, we decided to sit on the stools. Though, in the deepest corner of the room, a table was free. The monsters sitting around it quickly stood up and squeezed themselves with the others.

"Edgy this is weird, I don't like it." I whispered to Edgy and shifted my eyes to him. He looked worried, as he kind of knew this would happen.

"Mustard? What's wrong?"

"uh, lets sit....uhm....just...ignore everyone else"

He looked embarrassed, same for me. We sat on the table and a few seconds later Grillby came to take our order.

"What would you like to order?" Grillby asked, grinning.

Silence.

As soon as Grillby asked that question, not even a fly could be heared. Everyone had stopped doing what they were doing before, and had opened all their ears to know what we would order.

"Uhm... I'll take a burger"

"same 'ere and a bottle o'mustard too"

"Immediately" Grillby said still grinning. "Also, Sans could you come here for a bit?"

Edgy, not quite willingly stood up and walked a few steps towards the kitchen with Grillby.

"Spill it." Grillby said crossing his arms, smirking and smiling at the same time.

"s-spill what?" Edgy asked blushing a bit but also acting tough at the same time.

"You know you can't play dumb with me." Grillby said still smirking

"fine"

"..."

"..."

"So?"

"s-shes my girlfriend" Edgy said with the lowest voice he could ever do.

"You?! HA, I knew you were soft deep inside!"

"shhhhh" Edgy shushed Grillby as he noticed that everyone turned their heads towards them wondering why Grillby shouted. Then he dragged him to the kitchen.

"can u please fucking lower your voice? they might doubt"

"They're 100% sure about it. Me shouting was a confirmation. Honestly though, that girl is amazing. How did she even convince you. I like how this is going. Sooner or later you'll be a different person."

"heh, im already a different person" Edgy started talking looking at me through a small opening on the door" she makes me happy and crazy at the same time, worried and relieved, inferior and superior. she made me understand that being harsh with everyone wont solve anything." Then he turned his eyes to Grillby with had a rather peculiar face expression, more like...scared.

"what"

"You're really expressing your feelings, right??"

"..."

Then playfully Grillby grabbed Edgy by his shoulders and shook him.

"Who are you and what have you done to the real Sans?!?!"

"grillbz, stop"

"I'm proud of you Sans" Grillby said as his face smoothed down looking more pleased and happy." Now go, (Y/n) is waiting for you."

Slowly Edgy left as Grillby was started preparing our burgers. He came to me and sat on the table.

"What's wrong? What did Grillby say?"

"n-nothing important, dun worry"

"You know, on your first date you're supposed to talk about hobbies and stuff but..."

"yea we already kno each others hobbies"

We both laughed a little.

"We take the idea of the first date to a whole new level."

"yep, also..."

"What?"

"do u kno who else is dating who?"

"...."

Then Edgy came close to my left ear and whispered: "boss 'n mett"

"SHUT UPP!!!" I said excited turning my head towards him looking him in the eye...sockets.

"youre more excited 'bout boss's relationship than ours"

"I always knew you had a soft side but, PAPYRUS?! *shiny eyes* Man, I'm gonna tease him soooooo much."

"heh, count me in too for the teasing."

"OOH YEAH!"

Then Grillby came with our order and we passed a great time planning the teases and pranks we could do to the lovebirds. It was the best date I could ever imagine.

This time we decided to walk home, actually I decided so...Edgy was lazy af. It was dark and snowing so I thought that a little walk would be romantic. My hair were filled with snowflakes. Edgy looked at me and chuckled.

"yer hair look like a nest for snowflakes"

I shuffled my hair so that the snow would fall off and then brushed my hair gently with my fingers to smooth them down.

"u did nothing, the snow is still there *grinning* here let me-"

Edgy said as he started to remove most of the snow from my hair. then he looked down at me and stared at my nose.

"What is it?" I asked "Is there snow on my nose too?" I said as I started to wipe my nose with the tips of my fingers but I felt nothing cold, which meant there wasn't any snow on my nose.

Then Edgy touched my nose with his index finger. I was confused af. Then he finally spoke.

"yer nose is red"

Embarrassed I hid my lower face using my hands. Edgy chuckled, slowly removed my hands and quickly pecked my nose. Then my whole face got red. He laughed a bit this time and then he pecked my lips.

Then he broke the kiss and asked:

"wuss this ur definition of 'romantic'?"

"Well...kind of."

"arite gud purrfect, now home" He said before he teletransported us home.

Edgy opened the door and got in first, then I got in after him. But little did we knew, that we would see what we had to live with, for the rest of our lives.
