Ashton: He heard the door slam as you made your way into the apartment you shared, a sigh escaping your lips as you pulled off your shoes. You turned, noticing the dishes hadn’t been washed and the mess you two had created, that Ashton had promised to clean when you left that morning.
You didn’t say a word, you just began cleaning, hearing the tapping of his drum pads in the spare bedroom he had turned into a music room.
"Oh, hey babe. I didn’t hear you come home," he chirped, walking up behind you and wrapping his long arms around your waist. His wide smile turned into a frown when you didn’t respond and his hand ran up and down your tense back. "Babe?"
Once the dishwasher was filled, you started it and trudged upstairs, Ashton on your heels. “Babe, what’s wrong? Are you mad because of the dishes? I’m sorry I didn’t do them, we’re just trying to get ready for the tour.” He rambled on as you walked into the closet, grabbing one of his oversized t-shirts and into the bathroom where you started the shower.
He sighed, looking after you forlorn before closing the bathroom door.
You showered in silence, sighing softly as you toweled off, leaving your hair in a turban. Opening the door, the tv was on softly and he was laying in bed, waiting on you. You climbed in beside him, curling up on his chest. “Are you alright?”
You nodded gently. “I just had a bad day, that’s all. I didn’t mean to take it out on you.”
He leaned down and kissed your head, rubbing your back gently. “I’m sorry about the dishes, I should have done them before I left.”
You yawned and shrugged gently. “I don’t expect you to be able to do all that stuff if you’re at rehearsals all day. My boss is just a dick.”
He smiled softly and leaned down, gently pressing his lips to yours. “I love you, you know?”
You leaned up, looking up at him. “Really? I had no idea.” You giggled when he gently swatted at your butt. “I love you too, Ash.” With another kiss to your forehead, he tugged the towel off your head and you fell asleep on your pillow, his arm safely draped across your waist.
Michael: The Xbox was blaring when you got home, Calum laughing loudly as you walked in the door. Kicking off your shoes, Michael called a hello in your general direction, looking up from the screen as you ignored him. “Babe?”
"Is she alright?" Calum asked, as he paused the game.
"I’ll go talk to her after she takes a shower," he replied, returning to the game.
Michael was sitting on the edge of the bed as you walked out of the bathroom, his t-shirt hanging off your shoulders losely. “C’mere, baby.”
You walked over to him, sighing as he pulled you in his lap. “Bad day at work?”
You nodded, nuzzling in his neck. “Just a bad day in general.”
"Well, how about I make you some tea and you can watch Calum and I try to kill each other," he said, with a grin.
You smiled softly and nodded, kissing his cheek. “That sounds nice.” He kissed your lips softly before lifting you to your feet.
Luke: He wasn’t home when you arrived, so you went up and showered before tugging on one of his t-shirts and cuddling with the giant penguin that adorned your shared bed. He arrived home shortly afterward, grinning at the sight of you.
"I never thought I’d be jealous of a penguin," he remarked, with a chuckle as he plopped on the edge of the bed. You didn’t reply, which made his eyebrows furrow in concern when he brushed your wet hair from your face. "Bad day?"
You nodded gently, groaning when he took the penguin. “Luke, gimme the penguin.”
He smiled, pulling off his shoes and laid beside you, pulling you against his chest. “Why have a penguin, when you can have me?”
You smiled softly and sighed, resting your arm across his stomach.
"You’re right, you are better than the penguin."
He chuckled softly, kissing your hair. “Of course I am.” He kissed your lips softly, rubbing your back. It was silent except for the sound of your breathing and his heartbeat as he kneaded the tense muscles in your back, your eyes growing heavy. “I love you.” He grinned down at you when you didn’t respond, already deep in sleep against his chest.
Calum: As soon as you walked through the door, Calum clung to your shoulders, his face pressed into your shoulder. “Calum, get off.”
"No," he whined. "I missed you all day." He leaned back, frowning softly. "Why is there coffee stains on your shirt?" He took in the frown on your face and kissed your cheek, hugging you tightly. "Go upstairs and get changed. I’ll have a surprise for you when you come back."
You nodded gently and trudged upstairs, showering and returning back down in a pair of sweatpants and one of Calum’s jumpers. A warm mug of tea and your favorite peanut butter cookies sat on the coffee table, Calum in the kitchen making a cup for himself.
He grinned as he approached you, kissing your lips softly before sitting on the couch and patting the space beside him. You grabbed the mug and took a sip, leaning against his chest. “Thank you, Calum.”
"Anything for you, babe," he replied, grinning down at you. You smiled, kissing his jaw before gazing toward the tv. "What are you watching?"
He shrugged. “The remote disappeared, so this is what the tv’s been on.”
You giggled, pointing over to the table that sat at the end of the couch. “The remote’s right there, you dork.” He smiled widely at you before grabbing it and changing the channel to a movie. “You’re adorable.”
"I try," he said with a bright smile. You kissed his lips, resting your head against his shoulder. Despite your bad day, Calum always knew how to brighten your mood
