Nicholas Malfoy was at home when he got the news. An owl had just stopped by and given him his acceptance letter. The first page read:

The next page simply read off the supplies. He was going to go to Hogwarts! "Father, can we go to Diagon Alley? I am ready to go and get my supplies!" exclaimed Nicholas.
"Yes, Nick," said Draco Malfoy. But still, Nick was a Malfoy, he was already planning a way to ditch his father at Diagon Alley. All he wanted to do was visit Knockturn Alley. For a boy like Nick, the dark, shadowy, twisting lanes of Knockturn were irresistible.

Then, at the new and improved Burrow, Reilley and Karson Weasley also got the news. Karson asked their father, Ron, if they could also go to Diagon Alley. "Ok, let's stop at your Uncle's shop first!" cried Ron. Excited, and filled with glee, they stepped into their fireplace. Outsiders could hear whispers of the family shouting "Diagon Alley." The Burrow was one of the only homes that used The Floo Network to travel. As The Ministry had banned most homes due to illegal or incorrect use of the network.

As it turns out, Nate Potter was already at Diagon Alley. Although he was there for a, different, reason. It was his 11th birthday! He was having a celebration at the Leaky Cauldron! His friends were supposed to show up, but they had not arrived. Maybe Scowl, his owl, had forgotten to give them their invitations, he thought glumly. He was slowly eating his cake, but a birthday isn't fun without friends. However, he had no idea he was getting his acceptance letter today. As Harry had "forgot" to tell Nate he was getting his letter today. Harry had already received the letter and had hidden it in Nate's gift. At last Nate had gotten his presents, again, he was reminded of his friend's absence due to the lack of two special presents.
He did hurry to open his father's gift, as he always gave the best of presents. Nate ripped it open, found 5 chocolate frogs, 2 chocolate cauldrons, and a couple muggle magic tricks. At the very bottom was a very royal-looking envelope. He found it, and opened it up. The moment he glanced at the letter, he knew what it was. He looked up at his father, who was beaming at him. With a glance at his father, he knew what to do. He got his stuff and the two practically glided to Diagon Alley.

Also at Diagon Alley was Abigail Granger, Elizabeth Black, Abby Lovegood, and Matthew Riddle. They all were accepted into Hogwarts. All of them had to get their wands and their books. Malfoy, the Weasleys, Granger, Black, Lovegood, Potter and Riddle all saw each other at Ollivander's to get their wands. At the time, they didn't know where Hogwarts would put them in their lives. Would they become friends or enemies?

On September 1st, all of the students that were going to Hogwarts were at Kings Cross. They all then proceeded to walk to Platform 9 ¾.
They slowly boarded the train, giving hugs and waving goodbye. When they all boarded the Hogwarts Express, Reilley Weasley began to look for her seat. She chose a compartment full of girls her age. Abby Lovegood, Abigail Granger, and Elizabeth Black, were the members of that compartment.
As Reilley was entering her compartment when her bag ripped. All her books had spilled out onto the floor. Nick Malfoy stood in the doorway with a smirk on his face. Reilley realized it was he who had ripped her bag. As Malfoy walked away, Nate Potter passed by. He saw her and helped her up. He said, "Well that wasn't very nice of him. Nice to meet you, the names Nate." Reilley shook his hand, and invited Nate to sit with her. Nate politely refused, stating that he had other friends in the back. As she sat down, she realized one of her textbooks were missing.
She looked out in the aisle, and saw Nick holding her copy of Advanced Potions Grade 1. "Oh, hello, I was just reading it. I didn't know you were a Weasley. I saw it on the book cover. I should have guessed, all your books are hand-me-downs. You filthy little blood-traitor, you're lucky they still let the likes of you go to this school!" jeered Nick.
"Um, uh, excuse me," said Reilley.
"Why, do you need to go cry with your itsy-bitsy friends?"
"No!"
"Then, what do you need to leave for?"
"I need to see my brother!"
"Oh, yay another Weasley," laughed Nick.
As Nick Malfoy was laughing with his friends, Reilley had a chance to see her brother. "Give me the Invisibility Cloak!" said Reilley, "Now!"
"Fine, but you have to give it back," demanded Karson, her brother. Karson had got it from Ron, he had said he still had it from an adventure with his friends.
Reilley was walking back to her seat when she hit someone. It was Nate Potter. "Who's there?" he asked.
"Reilley," she muttered. As Nate looked around in confusion, she quickly moved away.
Back with in her compartment, she and the other girls introduced themselves. Quickly, they had become friends. Reilley showed them a few spells she could do. "Wow, who taught you that?" said Elizabeth Black.
"My father!" exclaimed Reilley. Just then someone came around and told everyone to get their robes on. They arrived not too long after that.
