As the boys settle down, I realize that she is right. I do like Mike, but now what?
"Let's go sit over there," I suggest, nodding towards another empty set of bleachers, "Away from these idiots."
Anna and I walk over. "Sooooooooooo," I start and it all comes out in a rush, "IkindadolikeMikeandIdidn'trealizeit, sonowwhat?" She smiles.
"I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!" she says, bouncing up and down.
"How? How did you know before I even did?" I asked, scared that I had been making a fool of myself. What if I had already revealed it to everyone else? I only tell my close friends about crushes, not people I've known for 2 months!
"Oh, my. You just get this look in your eyes when you see him or even talk about him. By the way, you talk about him a lot." she says, making a lovey-dovey face.
¨Shioooot. Do you think anyone else noticed?¨
¨No, no. They are all too blind." She reassures me. We end our conversation as others join our bench. After the activity is done, we go our separate ways. We go to art, where we make tiki masks because this weekś theme is Hawaiian week. Then, in the game room, all of the junior Counselors relax. Anna and Alec start a pool game. That's when the ¨fun¨ begins.
