I open my eyes as I saw it was already morning. Sitting up to stretch as I got out of bed to change out of my sleepwear. Looking through the closets full of clothes and I couldn't decide which to wear. I couldn't help but think back of what big brother said to me. "Something that rightfully belongs to you." That very sentence keeps bugging me as I finally pick an outfit for the day.

After I was done changing, I didn't notice someone was opening the door or calling my name while I was looking out at the window. "Princess Charlotte!" Someone shouted behind me as I yelps and jmps onto my bed, while I look behind me to see Sir Alyn, giving me a very annoyed expression.

"I-I-I'm sorry Sir Alyn!" I immediately apologize as he sigh at me while Nico was only laughing at me a bit. I blushed from embarrassment as the male brunette looks at me with slight worry. "Is there something bothering you?" He ask me as I look up to see his eyes. Sir Alyn's rosy eyes were staring directly into my eyes.

Alyn's POV

As I notice that Nico, the newcomer was still at the door, calling out to the princess. "Is there something wrong?" I ask as he looks at me. "Princess isn't responding to me." He stated as I decide to open the door to see her standing by the window. "Princess Charlotte." I called out to her, but no response from her. I sigh as I made my way to her nd decided to call out behind her.

"Princess Charlotte!" I shouted, but not loud enough to hurt her ears. Charlotte yelps while jumping onto her bed and looks behind her to see me. I stare at her with an irritated expression as she immediately apologize to me.

"I-I-I'm sorry Sir Alyn!" I could only do was sigh at her while the newcomer was laghing at her. I notice that her eyes were showing the trouble in her eyes while her face were red.

I begin to wonder as I was also worry for her. "Is there something bothering you?" I ask as she looks up to look at me in the eyes and looks away from me. "Nico. You may go, I'll escort her to breakfast."

I ordered as he bows and left the two of us alone. "I-Is it that o-oblivious?" She ask as she doesn't make any eye contact with me. I begin to feel a bit irritated of her action as it was making my heart ache in pain.

"Yes." I answer her as she moves away from me and got off the bed. "W-Well let's get going then..." Charlotte said as I spoke, "Please tell me. What's on your mind?" Instead of her usually answering me, she dodges the question and gave me a smile.

"I'm fine Sir Alyn. There's nothing to worry about me." She said as I can tell it was a forced smile on her face. I only sigh as I could mentally agree with her that we shouldn't be stalling time.

As both of us left her room, we head straight for breakfast as Giles greets us. "Good morning Your Highness and Alyn." I greeted him back as for the small girl, she gave out a quiet greeting to him with a smile.

I sigh as Giles told her about her schedule. I was shock when he said that I'll be teaching her to properly ride a horse. To begin with, I was okay with it, but Charlotte said nothing at all as the chamberlain went on.

As I was preparing the horses while waiting for her. I notice that she was walking to me as I spotted Leo behind her while I narrow my eyes at him. Except that he looks like he was worried while watching the small princess coming over to me.

Leo's POV

As I was getting ready to prepare for Charlotte's lesson for the day. I heard the door open to see the small girl making her way to her desk. She gave me a small smile as I notice the small glint of trouble in her eyes.

But, I ignore it as I ask, "Are you ready?" She gave me a small nod with her innocent smile. Charlotte sat down as I begin to teach her the subjects of the history and different kings and queens of Wysteria.

Soon, the lesson was almost over, I notice that she has been spacing out more often than usual. I pause the lesson as I look directly into her eyes. "Is there something on your mind Princess?" I ask in concern as she only look at me with a forced smile.

"I'm fine Sir Leo. It's nothing." She quickly replies as I only look at her with doubt. "No, your not fine Princess. I'm willingly to listen to your trouble. What's wrong?" I ask her as she has her head hung down. "I-I said I'm fine Sir Leo." She said once again as I sigh at her.

"For now, lesson will be done for the day. I'll escort you to your next lesson." I said as she follows behind me. Then I turn around to face her once again. "Princess. Have you thought about my offer?" I ask her as Charlotte looks at me in the eyes. "I have Sir Leo... But, I've already chosen my Prince Consort." She said as I was shock.

"Who is it?" I ask as I was curious to know who was it. "However... I want to focus on my duty as Princess Elect of Wysteria." She said as I could only wait to find out who was it. "A-and... You said... You're willing to... L-Listen to my t-troubles?" She ask as she was stuttering while I nod.

"Yes." I firmly said as we took a seat on the fountain. As she told me everything that was on her chest, I could only wonder what Owen meant by that. "Adopted? Important person? Duty? Rightfully belongs to you? Legacy? Time?" I said out loud as she nods with tears coming out of her eyes.

I gave her a hug to comfort her as I decided. "I'll search through books to find informations for you Charlotte." I said as she looks up to me like a child looking up at their older sibling. "A-Are you really want t-to help me?"

She ask me innocently as I gave her a gentle smile and nodded. "Of course. If there something on your mind, you can talk to me whenever you want. I'll always be here for you." I said as she gave me a sheepish smile.

"Okay." She timidly said as she thanks me. I noted one last thing, "Please call me Leo, not Sir Leo. It makes me feel like I got the most respect when it's suppose to be me calling you princess." She gave me a small smile and nods. "Okay Leo."

During our walk to the training ground, I told her that Alyn was my twin brother. Charlotte gave me a surprise look as she was shock to find out that we were brothers. "However, Alyn and I don't get along." I said as she only nod with the same surprise expression.

As we were finally at the training ground where Alyn was waiting for her. I notice that my twin narrow his eyes at me, but realizes that I was only watching the princess with worry. I turn my heels to walk away. 'For now, I'll be there to advise you when you're in trouble.' I thought to myself as I went straight to the library.
