Once we got home, I took the groceries to the kitchen and began preparing dinner. It took me a while, but I got it.

"Hey Cyndy, what're ya making?" asked Two-Bit, coming into the kitchen.

"Dinner" I responded.

"What're we having?" he asked.

"Pizza" I replied.

"Hey Two-Bit, mickey mouse's on tv" Dally called from the living room. He walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. Then, Ponyboy walked in to the kitchen.

"Hey" he said.

"Hey" I replied. It was quiet for a while, I thought he left.

"What are you making?" he suddenly asked, right behind me, causing me to jump. He began laughing.

"That was not funny" I whined. Dally was standing in tthe door way, laughing too. I rolled my eyes and kept on sprinkling the cheese on top of the pizza. I had to make two ofcoures. I began putting the pepperonie on them, when Dally came up behind me and tapped me on the waist. It also made me jump, I don't know why, but I get scared easily. They started laughing again, and so did Two-Bit and Johnny.

"It's not funny, stop laughing" I whined.

"It.... is funny" Dally laughed. I sighed and put the pizzas in the oven. The guys went into the living room, except for Ponyboy. He was in the kitchen with me.

"I'm sorry for scaring you" Ponyboy apologized, smiling while thinking about it.

"It's okay, uh what's tomorrows date?" I asked. For some reason, I had a strange feeling about tomorrow.

"It's the 13 of December" he answered.

"No wonder" I blurted. I smiled a bit.

"Why, what's tomorrow?" he asked.

"My birthday, nothing special" I calmly said.

"Really?" he asked. I nodded.

"So you're turning 14?" he asked.

"Yea" I responded.

"Shoot, that is special" he exclaimed. I cracked a smile.

"How?" I asked.

"Birthdays are always special" he stated.

"Yea I guess, but not mine. I don't ever celebrate itanyways" I said.

"This year, we will" he responded. "Ya'll don't need to" I said. "We will" he replied. Then, there was a 'ding'. The pizzas were ready. I took them out of the oven  and placed them on the table. Then, I cut them up, and set up the plates. The smell driffted through out the house. The front door opened and Sodapop, Steve, and Darry walked in.

"We're home" Sodapop called from the living room.

"Woa, I'm guessing Cyndy is making dinner again" I heard Steve say.

"How can you tell?" Darry asked.

"The smell ofcoures" Steve replied.

"You guessed right" I said, poking my head in the living room. "Who's hungry?" I asked.

"Me, I am" the whole gang said, then walked to the table.

Both pizzas disappeared in a sec, and I was as full as can be.

"That was good man" Dally complimented. I smiled. Suddenly, I saw Ponyboy go over and whisper something in Sodapop's ear. Soda nodded and then Ponyboy did the same to Darry. I got a little curiouse, but decided not to ask. I'll find out what it was later. After a while of just sitting there, I got up and walked into my room. It was almost ganna be night fall. I decided to take a shower, so I got out of the room and into the restroom. I turned on the shower and waited until the water was just right. As I did, I took of my clothes. I checked the water, then went in. After I was done, I turned off the water, got a towel, and wrapped myself in it, before getting out of the shower. It was a good thing I locked the door. I dried my hair then walked out, I didn't want to get the floor all wet. I quickly went into my room and changed. My hair was still a little wet, so I pput it up in a bun and then finished putting on my clothes. When I finished, I walked out to the living where the guys were.
