The rumble

"Wake up, wake up, wake up!' Soda yelled, jumping on the bed. I was half asleep and pulled the pillow over my head. He took it out of my hands.

"Five more minutes" I whined, pulling the blanket over my head.

"Hurry, Jaden's here already" he said. Just like that, I jumped out of bed, knocking him down. I ran to my dresser, and began throwing clothes all over the room.

"What should I wear, oh god I have nothing to wear!" I yelled, running all around the room. Wait, why was I rushing? This is some jacked up shit, But I felt like I needed to. I turned to Soda, who looked quite amused. "What are you still doing here? I'm ganna change" I said. He got off my bed.

"Fine, I'll go" he said, playfuly throwing his arms in the air. When he walked out, I began getting ready. I grabbed my straightner, deciding to straighten my hair today. I plugged it in, and began. It took me a good 30 minutes to do that, then I changed into a black short shorts, a blue tank top, and black and purple vans. I looked in the mirror, and walked out to the living room. The whole gang was there, including Dally. They were talking, but stopped once they saw me.

"Look good?" They all nodded. Then, I saw Jaden, looking cute as ever. "Jaden!" I yelled, running up to him, and hugging him tightly.

"Hey Candy, lookin' good" he complimented, as we pulled away.

"Thanks, you do too" I replied. "So, are we ready to go?" I looked at all the guys, and they nodded.

"Well, I'm heading out. See ya'll later man" Dally said, getting up and walking out the door.

"Well, let's go" Darry said. We all walked out the door. Two-Bit, Johny, and Ponyboy left with Darry. I got Jaden, Sodapop, and Steve. Yay, the fun people.

I started the car, and drove to the park. The guys kept talking about random stuff.

"You going to the rumble tonight?" Steve asked.

"Maybe, where at?"

"The lot" Steve responded.

"Okay, count me in" Jaden said. I smiled.

"Will you able to hadle it?" I teased Jaden.

"What do you mean, ofcoures I can" he replied. I just alughed. "What, it's true. Why do you think I have these muscles for?" I looked at him. He had on a smile that made me smile.

"To scare people off" I replied. He laughed.

"Hunny, I can do more than scare people off" he stated. Now all of us burst out laughing.

"Sure" I sarcastically said. Guessing the guys are starting to make a new friend. It made me mile just thinking about the gang getting along with Jaden, captain of the football team. That's still hard to believe. Well, atleast to me it is.

Before I knew it, we arrived. I parked the car and we all got out. Darry and the other guys were already there. They picked teams, then it started. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Jaden, were in one team. The rest were in another team. Only Johnny and Ponyboy knew that Jaden was captain of the football team. Ha, they're so devious. I sat on the grass nearby. Jaden's team was beating Darry's. It was funny cause he was so confused. Soda came up to me.

"Aren't you going to be our little cheerleader or what?" I laughed.

"Yea, I can do a little cheer if ya'll want" I said, getting up. The guys stopped playing to watch me. "Don't wait, don't hesitate, for the battle has just begun. Intimidate and dominate, for we are number one!" I yelled.

"No tricks?" Soda asked. I sighed, before doing a double black flip, and a cartwheel, landing in a split. The guys clapped. I stood up and walked back over to them.
