Chapter 4

"So.. you two are going to live together?"

"No no, we just unload his stuff at my apartment and then we search for a place he can live. He told me that he can't just move in with you guys. I thought that would be the easiest solution."

"Ah ok, that's very thoughtful of you."

"Yea sometimes I do the right thing." You smiled to yourself in silent

You sat on your sofa and zepped through the tv programm, in the background you hear the shower being turned off. Seems like Jae is done. You got up and unfold the sofa and put up the "guest bed". You sink back down and continue watching TV.

"Movie night and deep conversations?" He asked while rubbing his wet hair with a towel and moving through the labyrinth of cartons to the sofa. You giggle.

"Sure, why not. Sounds fun. We have two movies that will start in 5 minutes or so. I am Legend and Tangled, what do you wanna see?"

"Tangled?" He looked at you with a frown.

"You're not a big Disney fan I guess."

"I fucking love Disney BUT I warn you. I'm going to sing."

"Wow such a threat, the music student wants to sing. I wanna die." You roll your eyes and hold your tummy from laughter.

"You seem like a sarcastic little brat, thanks a lot." He plopps down beside you on his so called "bed". It was a nice cozy atmosphere but after a short while into the film it suddenly changed. You two looked deep into each others eyes and shifted a little closer before... you started singing out loud together.

"7 AM, the usual morning lineup:

Start on the chores and sweep 'til the floor's all clean

Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up

Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15.

And so I'll read a book

Or maybe two or three

I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery

I'll play guitar and knit

And cook and basically

Just wonder when will my life begin?

Then after lunch it's puzzles and darts and baking

Paper mache, a bit of ballet and chess

Pottery and ventriloquy, candle making

Then I'll stretch, maybe sketch, take a climb,

Sew a dress!

And I'll reread the books

If I have time to spare

I'll paint the walls some more,

I'm sure there's room somewhere.

And then I'll brush and brush,

And brush and brush my hair

Stuck in the same place I've always been.

And I'll keep wonderin' and wonderin'

And wonderin' and wonderin'

When will my life begin?

And tomorrow night,

Lights will appear

Just like they do on my birthday each year.

What is it like

Out there where they glow?

Now that I'm older,

Mother might just

Let me go..."

"Wow I didn't know you could sing."

"Well thanks but yes, that's the reason why I want to learn guitar. I think it would harmonice."

"We should definitly begin tomorrow with those guitar lessons."

"Great idea BUT first we're going to look for a job and an apartment for you Mister."

"OK OK, BUT after that we're starting our lessons?"

"Sure thing!"

You two watched the movie and sang along with all songs. It was a nice evening, full of fun and great conversations although you just had some left overs for dinner.

"I'm leaving for bed. I think you know where everything important is. But don't hesitated to come to me if somethings wrong." You smiled and resived a gentle nod from him. You got in your room and slip into your PJ's, then under the covers of your bed.

Ahh.. warm and fluffy was the last thing you thought before drifting off.

You open your eyes just to see nothing, it's pitch black, what woke you up? You felt kind of uncomfortable you wanted to move when you realize you're not alone in your bed.

"Jae?" You wispher into the darkness. You try to move away but he grapes you tight and cuddles into your side.

"Suzy.. don't move so much. You know I'm holding you and never let go." He mumbled in his sleep.. It was so cute but at the same time it broke your heart. You really didn't know if you should wake him up or just get along with him cuddling you. But you had to admit you were pretty uncomfortable... You nodge him.

"Ya Jae wake up." Now that your eyes had adjust to the rare light of the moon shining into your room you could see him flutter his eyes open and staring right into your face. His eyes widend and he jumped out of the bed.

"Oh god oh god oh god oh god.. I don't know what to say, I was so lonely and oh god I must have come here half asleep. I'm sorry and oh g-"

"If you say one more time 'oh god' I seriously have to kill you. It's ok, it was just suprising also you called me Suzy and that was weird."

"Oh - haha - yea.... OK I'm just going back into the living room." He ran out of your room and vanished into the darkness. Having a roommate seems to be more exciting than you thought. After getting in the right position you continued with your sleep.
