While on my way outside the main house, I saw packed bags stuffed in the living room and some of the maids chatting about something while busily fixing their attire.
I approached Carmela as soon as I saw her.
"Hey...do you know what's going on here?" I asked
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. The next day is my twin daughters' birthday. The traveling itself takes a whole day so we're going now." She smiled as she fixed her hand bag.
"But, you'll all go?"
"Yes, Sheela. The maids here also know my daughters and Kurt agreed to this. We've been doing this for 2 years now. It's also like our vacation."
"So, we're gonna be...alone?" my eyebrows met in shock, terror, and every other emotions
"Yes. If you're worried about the food, you could always order from the restaurant. Kurt likes Japanese cuisine." She winked at me.
I just stared blankly at her. It was all so hard to absorb
"W-when are you coming back?" I said, finding my voice
"Well, maybe in a few weeks? 3 weeks tops."
That statement made my eyes bulge out
WHAT???
I swallowed hard
"O-okay..." I frowned then left.
Gosh...3 weeks...

Arjake's POV
Work. Work. Work.
There are a lot of them...
Anyways, it just popped in my mind that the house staff is leaving today. Which means...?
I grinned at the thought.
Looking back at the laptop, I started to work again. But still nowhere in the middle of work, I coughed but just ignored it.
After a few more minutes, I coughed again, this time feeling kind of dizzy.
Wake up! You don't need to have a flu right now...tonight, you've got a party to go to...just think straight and maybe the flu will be suspended...at least just let the party end.
I coughed again and still went back to work.
I'm not that workaholic as they say. I just want to please my parents...but being the president of the company doesn't mean that too...
I was wondering if I could pursue my talents while doing work at the company, but then, work became an overload.
My thoughts drifted off from work and I saw myself day dreaming about my personal secretary.
There's something wrong with her and I can feel it...
Something's just not right...there's a part of her she's lying about...or maybe I'm just being paranoid.
Maybe it's the flu thing?
Maybe it is...I hope it is.
Still, I couldn't help being suspicious.
Sheyna's POV
After a while of touring around the mansion and getting some things figured out in my head, I headed back to my room.
Arjake didn't call me for the last hours. I guess he just didn't need anything today.
It was already afternoon and I was just lying on my bed when someone knocked. The door was locked but then, it opened.
