Chapter-4 Soul

'Man this place is cool!' I thought while going down. It seems like someone who's almost as awesome as me created some weird hole into the earth. That would be A LOT of digging. I probably would quit after one foot deep.

Although everything was cool to look at, my mind was still in panic and worry. 'Where is Kid???' I sighed. Floating down some more; I snatched quickly onto a wall as I discovered a piano across from me. I lifted off of the wall and towards the beautiful masterpiece. I continued to float but that wouldn't stop me from playing. My fingers glided across the mystical keys until they landed on my beginning chords.

I was about to play when something shot past me. I slowly turned my head to see a ninja star impaled into a 3 of Clubs card. The first thing that appeared in my mind was, 'BlackStar.'

I looked down, expecting to see my blue monkey friend. But what my eyes saw was the most surprising thing I have ever seen. Thirteen-feet below me was a certain shinigami in a dress and being surrounded by a bunch of cards. I ditched the piano and started floating down, hoping to catch Kid while at it. The next few moments almost seem like a blur to me though.

Kid started falling, a guy with white hair appeared and lifted Kid up, then disappeared into the wall. Just like that; he was gone. I pulled on my hair in pure frustration. I couldn't make it in time to rescue him again. 'But who was that guy? I really like his hair though.'

My mind was boggling until I noticed all the cards that were there before; swish around me so that I was in some sort of dome. I poked one randomly and it turned around to show a man in silver armor; kneeling in front of a girl with dark hair and a dark dress. On the corners it read in bold black swirly letters,

'KEY KEEPER'

'The hell? What about key keeper? I just want to find Kid!' I mentally groaned.

The cards flew away and metal wires sprouted from their centers towards me. I dodged many but one caught my left forearm. Before it could dive into my skin, I changed my arm into weapon form; allowing it to be free once more. I started to fall down again. This time it was exceptionally fast.

I closed my eyes to nap while my body continued to fly for at least another minute or two until I landed on some hard cold surface. Not even bothering to look around, I allowed my body to stay numb for a little while longer. All of a sudden the image of Kid flashed in my mind and my body instantly sat right up. I mentally cursed myself for even daring to think about sleep.

My legs picked up the rest of my body so that I was now standing. My eyes gazed across the odd room that I had landed in, to find myself in a large dome shaped room almost like the card formation. Tall, dark yellow, curved walls with glazed marble flooring. There was a rectangle cut-out in one of the walls to stretch out into a long hallway. I blinked a few times before walking towards the space.

The hall consisted dozens of doors with different colors. Gold, Red, White, Yellow, Sky blue, Navy blue, Pink, Purple. No door looked like another and none looked natural. Everytime I tried to open one of them though it was always locked. Out of frustration I started to kick the damn doors.

'This is getting really wack right now. And pretty annoying!! But I can't stop now.'

At the very edge I saw yet another door but it was the smallest of them all. Running closer towards it, my eyes gazed upon the fist-sized thing. I kneeled down and peered my eyes though the small opening. Outside was a dark looking forest of some sort. It looked cool.
