2 weeks later...
At school_
Della's walking through the school hallways laughing with her friends, smiling at everyone who passes by and enjoying her pleasant day. Her tall figure is slightly slouching from a long school day and her elegant light-toned brown skin is glooming of exhaustion. She is ready to go home, eat a satisfying meal and relax, repeating her daily routine.
Della rides the bus home which she hates because it takes forever and she's not allowed on her phone, so all she can do is look around and think. Thinking is torture to Della, all she does is think and when she runs out of ideas. The negative thoughts start creeping in then the next thing she knows she's in her feelings.
Eventually she gets home and does exactly as she planned, pushing back all thoughts and not giving a care in the world. She eats pizza and plops on the couch watching her favorite TV series on Netflix, "Supernatural".
Suddenly her father appears out of nowhere with a grin on his face. She closes her eyes praying he stays abstinent or just goes away. She hates to not want to be around her father but she can't help to think he's probably about to get high and mess up like always.
She gives him a fake little smile back, keeping her distance and walks off. She's curious about what's going through his mind when he realizes his daughter despises him or neglects his presence. But she goes with he doesn't care.
Soon the sun goes down and the curtains are being closed. Grandmother is getting ready for bed making sure everyone has a decent place to sleep.
Della's in her room watching Netflix and probably won't be sleep till 11 tonight. Grandmother is laying down slowly falling to asleep because she has work early in the morning and has to get Della up for school.
Before anyone can get comfortable there goes the "drug addict father" acting out again. Only this time he has his daughter and mother scared for his life...
