~*Astria's Pov*~

My body was sore as I steadily got up from my bed. Last night activities had my bottom half of my body sore, I blush at the thought of memories. It's a miracle that my mom or my dad didn't hear me, even with me covering my mouth and biting onto James's shoulder. I was still pretty loud.

I slowly walked towards my bathroom in need of a good hot shower, but something stopped me as I reached the door. I felt a presence behind me, it felt very much like James's. I turned but saw nothing, tilting my head in confusion. "What was that?" I said to myself, but shrugged.

Before I stepped into my bathroom, I had noticed something reflecting from my large mirror that hung on the wall above my dresser...it was a person...but not any ole person, but James. "James!" I said a little excited, looking in the direction in where he would be standing.

.... But he wasn't there, I quickly looked around but there was no sign of him. "James stop playing games," I pouted, continuing looking around the room for him. "I'm not playing games Ash" I heard him say, feeling his presence behind me again.

I turned to look at him, finally I was able to see him. "But you kept disappearing when I looked or felt you," I said with a small pout and went to hug him. But my arms went right through him, causing me to gasp and look up at him with so much confusion. "What's going on jamjam? Why can't I touch you?" I asked, growing scared that maybe he was a ghost now.

James gave a small chuckle and smiles a bit. "I'm not really here right now, This is all in your mind. Our bond allows you to see me while I'm away. But you can't touch me," he explained with a sad expression. Causing me to pout even more, I wanted to touch him when I'm able to see him, I would like to cuddle and kiss him. "That sucks a little, I want to touch you,..." I whined slightly.

"I'm sorry baby, Right now I'm busy with something. But tonight I'll come by and we can cuddle or something I promise." he said with a smile. "Aww alright," I playfully pouted then smiled. "Thanks baby, I'll have to go now. I love you" he said before his body faded away.

I felt a little lonely once he was gone, but the thought of him coming tonight had me excited. 'I can't wait for tonight' I mentally giggled then finally walked into the bathroom and undressed, getting into the tub and taking my desired hot shower~.

*Jame's POV*

'Shit it's so late,' I thought as I finished off the rogue vampire. Since yesterday I could sense another vamp in the area. Not a normal one, but a rogue one. One that had no control over its self. I couldn't let it run around putting Astria in danger.

So since it was Saturday, I decided to go ahead and kill the rogue before it becomes a problem. But one thing is that I didn't know it was going to take this long to handle the situation. Astria had gained the ability to see my spirit while i'm away, soon she'll learn that she can summon me with just a thought. I had promised her that I would spend time with her tonight.

I quickly checked the time to see that it's a quarter past one. 'Shit she's going to be mad at me,' I thought, teleporting myself inside her room. "Psst Ash?" I called out quietly. Her room was dark with the only light being from the moon outside.

"Mmm" I heard her hum, I walked over to her bed to see that she was fast asleep. I felt bad that it was so late by the time I got here. But hopefully she won't be mad at me. I smiled down at her sleeping form...looking so innocent and pure as she slept.

I quietly took off my shoes and my shirt, climbing in her bed beside her. Almost immediately she turned over and wrapped her arms around my waist, snuggling her face in my side. I couldn't help but to quietly chuckle from her cuteness. "Goodnight love," I whispered before pulling her closer to me and holding her in my arms.

~*???'s Pov*~

"You will attend high school and keep an eye on James Cruorem, is that understood?" One of the high ranked leaders said in a demanding voice. I sighed, 'Why must they give me this boring job,' I thought and crossed my arms in annoyance.

"May I ask why I have to basically stalk him?" I asked, looking towards the older vampire who sat at the head of the fellowship table. "Because he has not been around for a very long time. Plus we believe he has been interacting with humans to much. We need you to watch him and send back any information," he replied, taking a long sip from his red stained wine glass.

"James is a powerful Vampire, try your best to stay undetected for as long as you can and do not engage with him" Another high rank vampire said as she looked at me with her piercing green eyes. Causing me to roll my eyes at her statement. 'Of course he is dip shit. He's the King's son'  I mentally said.

"I know, I know whatever. I'll stalk the guy and send the info back" I said, clearly annoyed as I stood up and walked towards the large wooden doors. "Good and Zack?" the female said.

"Yeah?" I mumbled, pulling the door open as she walked towards me. She stopped and leaned towards my ear, "Keep a good eye out, I believe a human at that school has the ancient mistress's power. If you see, her contact me at once" she whispered with a small smirk.

'Power craving bitch,' I begin to think but sighed and nodded as I walked out of the room. "Sure fine" I said blankly and walked down the long hallways. "I wonder if that's why the bastard left, I get away from all these annoying and power hungry fuckers," I said to myself walking into the streets of the vampire kingdom.

"Why the fuck did they have to make me do this, they have plenty other pathetic people to choose from. I don't want to do this shit" I mumbled to myself, heading towards my house.

'God now I also have to deal with the troublesome mortals on this job. Goddamn why is my life a living hell at the moment. Just kill me now....'
