Nabooh City Middle School

"Wow! Shinsō, you're quirk is brainwashing?"

"Really, that's amazing! I've never heard of that before!"

"I'm so jealous..."

"I can't believe you can control anyone!"

"You can do as much bad stuff as you want!"

"Ha, and no one would know it was you..."

"Don't control us, ok?"

~

"Mmgh!" You were extremely irritated. Yes. It was math and you were horrible at it. And of course, you had a test today.

You planned on studying the night before, but being you, you procrastinated until you finally forgot. But who wouldn't forget when a new episode of MOMO's BIZARRE ADVENTURE came on that night?

'Just one more episode...' you recall yourself saying as each episode left you on a wild cliffhanger...

Now your only option was to cram everything you could into your tiny brain only 2 classes before the test.

"Who thought creating something so hard was a good idea?" You continuously bang your head on the table but soon stopped, leaving yourself hunched over dramatically.

"...brainwashing?!" You glance up to see three of your classmates hovering over this boy with purple hair. He must've been new because you knew everyone in your class and he didn't look familiar.

You stare at his fluffy lavender hair, making you feel the need to touch it. Quickly, you get up from your spot, eyes on the back of the boy, until your friend stops you with her arm.

"Hold up, Hikari-chan."

Looking up at her curiously, you say, "Huh? What's wrong, Ri-chan?" 'Ri-chan' or 'Riya,' was a friend you made after transferring to this school. She was drawn in by your kindness, confidence and quirk.

"If you're going over there to speak to the new kid, I suggest not. He can brainwash...seems like a pretty sketchy power to me."

"He can make you do things unwillingly...." Another of your friends, Layla say when she overheard Riya talking about the boy.

You cock your head towards them. "Unwillingly? I don't think he'd do that. Besides, I just wanna say hi..." You fidget with your fingers as your friend sighs. They knew how dangerously naive you could be, so they tried to keep you out of trouble as much as they could.

"Don't get too close to him.."

"Even if he does try something, i'm sure Hikari-chan can take him down with her amazing quirk!"

You blush a tiny bit yet sweat drop, happy about the compliment, even though you usually get them. Feeling they were being too prejudice over the new student, you shrug and walk over to the other small group with a smile.

"Brainwashing...?" You say to them after skipping over. "You have a quirk that brainwashes people, right? Meaning that you can control them to do anything you want them to..?"

Finally you were able to see your handsome classmate. You loved the way his eyes matched the beautiful color of his hair. Then you noticed how he had dark bags under his eyes.

'He must stay up pretty late..,' You think to yourself.

"Mm..." He scratches the back of his head with a small..fake..smile.

"Yeah, Hikari-chan! He can do so many evil things without getting caught..."

"Haha, I guess so..." You noticed how uncomfortable the boy looked, though it seemed no one else noticed. It must've been the 'compliments' the other kids were giving him.

"Evil things? His quirk doesn't seem evil...any quirk can be used for different things, good or bad..." You look down at the purple haired boy and greet him with a smile. "You know..I actually think your quirk is really-"

"Alright, class! Get into your seat, we have a new student."

"Dang it...i'll talk to you later then!" You rushed back to your seat before the teacher could see the mess you made on your desk with dozens of math worksheets.

The purple orbs of the boy continued to watch you as you hurried to your desk which was diagonally behind him.

'Why...didn't she look afraid...or
cautious of me like everybody else..?'
