Chapter 21

Ticci Toby's POV
I couldn't get out my head what [Name] asked if we could hang out more..Getting to know each other, sharing laughs and smiles. But how would I hide that? From Slender and everyone else in the mansion. Especially Clockwork. She recently got back from a long lasting Misson, Meaning i again have to share my room with her as she was my original roommate. But because of this, she wants to know everything I do, or everywhere I go.
"Toby wait for me!"
Speaking of the devil, as I made my way to Slender's office, asking to change roommates. Here she comes to bug me once again.
"W-What do you want?"
"Come on Tobs! Don't be like that-Hey! I have exciting news! Mother Nature took a day off so we're all set for later!"
She squeals, jumping on the spot, before winking with a large grin and running back to our room. A cringe-worthy shiver sends all the way down my spine. By 'mother Nature' I knew exactly what she meant. And I did not want any part of that, AT ALL.

Picking up the pace, I quickly run to Slender's office, knocking on the door before entering.
"S-S-Slender?"
I ask, popping my head around the door to see his tall figure sat at his desk. Entering the office, I close the door behind me and make my way towards him. Placing down whatever he was somehow reading without eyes, I sigh before speaking out.
"I c-cant room with Clock-Clockwork anymore."
"And why is this Toby?"
"I c-can't explain w-why.."
of course I couldn't explain why. If I told slender that CW was too nosey and was going to find out I'm friends with a normal person, who happens to be a girl, who also happened to be on my murder mission list. Both slender AND Clockwork would kill me.
"Toby, if you want this action to be carried out. I must be given a reason."
"Can't I st-stay in one of the spare-spare rooms? There's eno-enough of them."
"Your reason Toby. Or no room change."
Feeling angered, I don't reply, but instead I storm out of his office and out of the mansion, heading down town to [Names] house, knocking on her door and waiting for her to open.

Readers POV
Lyrisa and I sat on the sofa as we watched the news, eating our breakfast bowl of cereal until were interrupted but a knock at the door. Glancing at each other in a quick moment of confusion, I stand to my feet, walking over to the door. Opening it to see a familiar face.
"Tomo? Is something the matter?"
I could tell by his face that he was angry but maybe a little upset. He goes to speak but freezes once he spots the bowl of food in my hand. He couldn't help but chuckle at the fact I was still holding it. Giggling of slight embarrassment. I allow him inside, placing down my bowl of food.
"Lyrisa you remember Tomo?"
She turns around in her seat to face behind her, smiling in our direction.
"Heya Tomo! Nice to see you again."
Tomo nods but doesn't reply, turning back to face me.
"[Name] c-can I talk to you for a second? In-in private?"
"Of course."
We both head outside the front door to give us some privacy.
"What's up Tomo?"
"Um. I was w-wondering if I w-w-would be able to stay he-here a couple of days?.."
I was shocked. That's not what I had expect at all.. have I even known him long enough to allow him to stay. I guess I could sleep in my parents bed, Lyrisa in mine and Tomo on the sofa..?
"Why? Did your family kick you out?"
"O-Oh.. no. M-More so of I r-ran away."
"Oh.. well I would like to help you as I would hope you would do the same for me.. so um.. I guess you can but you would have to sleep on the sofa?"
He smiles widely, pulling me into a close warm hug. Resting his chin on my shoulder.
"T-Thank you [Name]!"
