Doing my first request- this has been requested by Emma, @smolbeanstyles. I hope this lives up to your expectations!
Emma's P.O.V.
The front door swings open, revealing an exhausted yet exuberant Ally.
"Babe! I met the most gorgeous fan today- she gave me a box of cookies for you!"
Ally walks towards me, plopping down on the couch right next to me.
My eyes are closed, and I lay my head back onto the fluffy pillows that cover the couch.
"Babe? Are you okay?" She questions, when I do not respond.
I groan silently, hoping that my girlfriend does not catch the sound made under my breath.
"I caught that, love." She chuckles, a tinge of concern embedded in her tone.
I open my eyes, and then roll them in the direction of my girlfriend.
"It's my back." I say, shifting my position on the couch to show her where it hurt.
I give out another signal of struggle while I move in order to let Ally take a look.
Ally begins to rub my back in a circular motion, gently massaging it.
I let out a sigh of relief as a wave of partial comfort washes over me.
After a few minutes, she stops.
"Okay, I honestly don't know what I'm doing." Ally giggles, and then whips out her phone.
She proceeds to call her mother, while continuing to stroke my back with affection.
"Hi, mom!" She chirps into the phone, happy to talk to her family as always.
"Emma's experiencing back pain that's related to her pregnancy. What can I do to help?"
She inquires.
Her mom speaks with her on the other end, earning the occasional acknowledgement from Ally.
"Mom's done talking to me, she wants to talk to you now."
Ally mouths to me, covering the microphone of the phone with one finger.
My eyes met hers with nervousness, but I playfully snatch the phone from her palm anyway.
"Hi, Patricia." I speak, and receive a warm greeting on the other end of the line.
"Hello, darling. Ally told me you have back pain, is that correct?" She questions.
Ally slides her hand into mine, and I look at our intertwined fingers with a smile on my face.
She makes me stronger even when my physical state can not cope up to it.
"Yeah... It hurts." I wince, and my girlfriend smoothly slides an arm around my shoulder.
"I've given Ally some ways that she can help you. Meanwhile, relax and you'll feel better, alright? Unfortunately, this carries on till the final stages of pregnancy, but I know you're a strong woman. If you need any help and support when my daughter's not home, you know you can call me." Patricia concludes, and I extend my appreciation to her with due gratefulness.
Ally takes her phone back from me and thanks her mom for the wise words.
When she puts the phone down, Ally jolts up from her seat and looks into my eyes.
