Chapter One: Winning the Contest

ROSIE'S POV

You probably think life is tough for most of you, right? Well you probably don't know what a rough life is, until you've lived mine. My name Rosie Skylar Winters. I may look like a normal teenager that goes to high school and gets good grades and all that. That's all really just an act. 

I have a huge secret that only one other person knows about(other than my parents of course). Well that person is my best friend, Braxton Jones. Well I should probably tell you about myself before I tell you the story.

I'm about 5'4", I know i'm pretty short for 17 right. I have bright green eyes and long Auburn color hair. I love almost every kind of food on the planet, except for fish. My favorite color is Purple and I love to climb trees. I also have one 4 year old sweet brother that I love to death. I love to sing, but don't tell anyone. Not even Braxton knows I sing.

OK I know your just dying to know what my big secret is right? Well...your going to have to wait for that later.

Right now I'm kinda happy because one its the weekend. Woohoo! And two because I'm truing to win One Direction tickets for Braxton and myself. We're not the " OMG ITS ONE DIRECTION!!!!AAAAAAHHHH!!!" no we respect them for what they do, and if we were to every meet them, we wouldn't scream in there faces and tell them how hot they are. They already here that enough from everyone else in the world.

"ROSIE, GET UP! YOUR GOING TO BE LATE!"

And that people was my mum. 

"I'm up, I'm up. Geez Woman. " I mumbled that last part.  I took a quick shower and slipped into my dark ripped jeans and slide on my striped Jumper. I slipped on my favorite purple Supra's, too. 

I walked into the bathroom and straightened my hair and brushed my teeth.. I did a Smokey eye and put on some lip gloss. As I went out the bathroom I walked into my little brothers room to wake him up.

"Cole, its time to get up." I whispered to him. I nudged his shoulder gently as he stirred a little. He fluttered open his eyes and when he saw me he immediately smiled and hugged me. "Come on Cole. Lets get you some breakfast." I told him while picking him up. He just yawned and put his head on my shoulder. I bet you 5 buck he probably fell back asleep.

When I put him in his chair, guess what? He was sleeping. HAHA BITCHES!!! YA'LL OWE ME 5 BUCK!!! I'm just kiddin'.

Once I set him down, he woke up instantly.  My mum set a small plate of cut up chocolate chip pancakes in front of him, and when he saw them, he was already half way done with the whole plate.

I look at my watch and saw what time it was. "Shit." I muttered and ran out the door after give my mum and little brother a kiss on the cheek and grabbing my keys.

"Have a nice day Rosie!" my mum called right before I closed the door. I quickly drove to Braxton's only to see her waiting for me. Not looking very happy need I add.

She got into the car and started ranting on how I was 5 minutes late on picking her up. "Hey, I said sorry but guess what today is?" I asked her. "Hmm I don't know maybe the day your driving and not stopped in the middle of the road." she said sarcastically. I just giggled at her response. 

"No they're going to announce the winners at the mall today for the One Direction concert." I told her. She just rolled her eyes, laughing a little. "Yea, I know. How can I forget when you remind me every ten second."

We drove to the mall and I parked the car. We walked inside and decided to do a little shopping before the announcement. We walked into Hollister and got at least three new outfits each.

We headed straight for the food court since I was starving. We went into Nando's and I pretty much ordered everything on there. Most of the people that walk in there and see me usually have a surprised look that says 'where does it all go?', and honestly I don't really know.

After lunch we went to the middle of the mall, where they were suppose to announce it. We sat down in some empty seats closed to the middle of the row. After about 20 minutes, more people started to show up. After about half an hour the announcer cam up on stage.

"Rosie Winters and Braxton Jones, will you please come onto the stage?"

I couldn't move, and I saw in the corner of my eye, that Braxton was just as surprised. After about 10 seconds, I snapped out of my little trance and pulled the still surprised Braxton on stage with me. "You two are the winners of the Contest for One Direction tickets!Congratulations!!"
