♛just some background information to help you understand the story better♛
Okay, so the story is in Cassie's point of view and her twin sister has just gone missing(I will show the scene in which she finds out in either the first or second chapter). Her twin sister's name is Melanie but, everyone calls her Mel for short. They are SUPERFECUNDATION TWINS. Meaning, they have two different fathers(yes, I did get this part from AHS i live for that show).
BACKSTORY
Cassie's mom and dad were on a break before she even knew she was pregnant. Cassie's mom had started dating another guy as a kind of rebound and....yeah that's how Mel came to be. Cassie's mom found out she was pregnant and Mel's father left her. As soon as she found that one of the twins was Cassie's father's baby, she ran back to him, hoping for a second chance. Luckily, he wasn't with anyone so they got back together. As Mel and Cassie grew up, without realizing, the two parents paid more attention to Cassie as she was their biological daughter. They never fully neglected Mel but, they seemed to not care for her as much as Cassie. Cassie knew this and always tried to get them to pay more attention to Mel but, it didn't help much.
