Tala sat upon the ground and fiddled around with her amulet she wore. It had been a gift from her mother before she had passed away and Tala only ever took it off to bathe. Closing her eyes, she felt a song coming and hummed it then sang it as the words came to her. She did not realize that Cullen had been walking in her direction and was now listening to her as he stopped in his tracks. It was raining and yet somehow the song was perfect for the mood Tala seemed to have entered since having told him about her former situation; as he listened he watched as the rain drenched her without her seemingly caring. He frowned as she returned to humming; his Templar training was screaming at him that she was not who she appeared to be, that she was extremely dangerous and though he wanted to demand the answer from her, his admiration and adoration for her was throwing themselves in the way and then he heard her start to sing a different song and felt his heart and gut wrenching in pain. "I don't deserve your love...but you give it to me anyway..." those lines right there had him stopping all thoughts and he wondered who she was singing about.

"Cullen?" Adanaya's voice was so quiet he almost didn't hear her.

"Herald? Is something the matter?" He asked wondering who did what this time.

"Why were you staring at Tala like you were?" She asked watching him carefully.

"I was just listening to her sing." He said quickly and Adanaya smiled.

"She does have a beautiful voice doesn't she? But there is something more you need to know about her-!" But Adanaya would not get to finish her sentence as something happened at that exact moment. "Shit!"

Tala looked around, chaos had fully ensued and now she was trying her damnedest to stay calm. For if she shifted now, all bets of her staying with the Inquisition were off; but then again when she came across Cullen about to be overpowered by a 'Red' Templar she threw caution to the wind and called out to him. "CULLEN!" She snarled out as the Red Templar threw the Commander to the ground and was about to pierce Cullen's heart with his sword; but when Cullen blinked a large black she-wolf body-slammed into the enemy with an echoing snarl. As he sat up he saw her give him a brief glance and something in him recognized her and his training kicked up, he watched her ears folded back as his gaze turned from bewilderment to enragement and she could only give a small whine before turning back to the enemies that now tried to swarm her. She launched herself back into the frey, as her heart broke in that moment and continued to fight on. If she was injured, she would slaughter the cause of it until eventually she came to met Adanaya and the others at the gate to the chantry.

"Okay, now I know you weren't lying. Holy shit you are a very large wolf." Adanaya said looking to her as Tala huffed quickly then shook herself. Her ears went foreward at the same time a roar sounded and everyone looked to each other in both fear and confusion. "What was that?" Adanaya asked as Tala looked skyward and snarled at the sight that was headed their way.

"Shit!" A dwarf by the name of Varric managed as they all leapt out of the way of the incoming red fire. Tala whined as she looked to everyone and once more caught the briefest hint of anger in Cullen's eyes before he nodded. The anger in his eyes made Tala want to shoot herself but she knew that he wasn't her biggest concern right now as she went to help Adanaya stand up. Everyone raced to leap into the chantry, everyone that was except Tala who was quick to vanish out of sight and bolt into the ever frozen mountains. As she ran she didn't not know the plan that was being made until a loud and thunderous sound had her pausing in her tracks and racing back to see that Haven was buried six feet deep. Fear set into Tala and she rushed towards the town, but the scents of everyone crossed her path and she could barely make out that everyone had made it safely out of Haven's chantry. Everyone but Adanaya who Tala set to work trying to find.
