Beep... beep... beep... I had already hit snooze three times. "Will you turn the stupid thing off?" I jumped up momentarily forgetting my room was inhabited by a ghost. So I finally turned my alarm clock off getting up to get ready for my first day of school. I was nervous, I was never any good at new places and people.

"Don't touch any of my stuff while I'm gone. I'll be back later, ok?" I told Elliott before hoisting my backpack on my shoulders and leaving.

"Bye Uncle Clark, I'm leaving for school," I shouted into his room. His voice stopped me, "do you have everything? Are you sure you want to go today? You could always try tomorrow." he said in a haste. So I told him, "I'm fine Uncle Clark I have everything, and I know how to get there."

My drive to the school wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thankfully I got there just in time for the first bell.

I walked into the ginormous building. All of a sudden I'm on the floor. "Hey watch where you're going" I said annoyed that this kid had bumped into me.

"I'm so sorry. Here let me help you up," he said as he grabbed my extended arm and lifted me off the ground. "Thanks but seriously watch where you're going next time" I know I was being a total bitch, but seriously it was his fault.

"Whoa, no need to be rude. Hey I haven't seen you around before. Are you new?" He asked looking me up and down which made me all the more uncomfortable. "Yeah just moved here and am a little lost."

"Want me to show you to the office?" He asked not waiting for an answer. He grabbed my arm and off we went to toward the main office.

"Here we are. Hey, I got to get to class, but if you need any help, I'm Liam." I could tell this guy had a lot of confidence. He wasn't terrible looking, being tall, dark, handsome was putting it lightly.

He seemed nice enough, but I'm the type of girl to never let her guard down, so all I could get out was "thanks."

"Can I help you?" I jumped as the lady behind the secretary desk asked. "Yes, I' new here and kind of don't know what I'm doing" I said all to fast, nervous I would sound stupid. "What's your name dear, I'll look it up in the computer, find your schedule, and send you on your way," she said typing things into her computer.

"My name's Gemma Collins," I told the women as the printer started going off. "All you need is right at the printer, your schedule will have your locker number and combination. All students are required to take regular core class and so on. Think you could find your way to your first class?." "Yeah, I think I should be just fine. Thank you again."

I walked down the hallway not sure where I was going. Thankfully the classrooms were numbered easily. English was my first class and luckily it wasn't too hard to find.

I walked into a large room filled with unfamiliar faces. Quickly everyone turned to see the new girl. "Oh you must be Gemma." The teacher smiled and welcomed me into the class.

Oh great, right in the front row was Liam, mister clumsy, with a big grim on his face that made his dimples stick out. I have to say his dimples were a cute asset. Even worse news the only seat open in the class was,  you guessed it, right next to Liam.
