GINNY WEASLEY WALKED UP TO THE SCHOOL AFTER PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL CALLED HER NAME.

McGonagall had placed the hat on her head.

"Ah... I see. There's another one of you. Are you the last one?" The hat spoke in Ginny's head.

"Yes," she whispered quietly. She had hoped her small voice didn't echo off of the walls.

"Finally," The hat mumbled to itself. "What house do you think you should be in? Hm? Maybe a brave Gryffindor. Or a kind and loving Hufflepuff?"

"Well..." she faltered. She had always wanted to be a Gryffindor, just like the rest of her family. She didn't want to disappoint them. She also wanted to be like her big brothers, for quite some time now.

"I see," the hat spoke, once again, in her head. "Then I guess it'll have to be GRYFFINDOR!" The Gryffindor table clapped the loudest. Most of it was coming from the Weasley twins.

Ginny happily jumped off of the stool and made her way to the table. She sat in between Ron and Hermione. Harry Potter was sitting across from her. Then, the girl had suddenly seen a small silver flash coming from a corner. She whipped her head to see what it was. All she saw was the edge of... a frying pan? She ignored it. This was Hogwarts, after all. Honestly, who'd be surprised if there were dancing dishes?

Ginny sat down and enjoyed the feast after Dumbledore's speech. She piled her plate with soft mashed potatoes, fried chicken wings, candied carrots, and steamed green beans. Then, it was time for dessert. There was chocolate pudding and apple pie. There was custard and and Arctic roll with brandy snaps. The hall was full of colorful foods and drinks all around.

Once everyone was full, Dumbledore then gave them a warning about the Forbidden Forest.

Ginny followed the Head Boy and made her way to her dormitory. There was Hermione, Pansy Parkins, and someone she had yet to know.

Ginny changed into more comfortable clothing and plopped onto her bed. The blanket was think, the covers soft and the pillow cool. She feel into a dreamless sleep. Hermione had closed the curtains as the red headed girl slept on.
