I groaned as the seatbelt light flashed on to signal landing. Okay, pause while I tell you about me and why the fuck I'm on a plane.

My life was okay. I had three besties, Kayla, Diana and Scarlet. I was on okay terms with my year group, not loved but not hated. Then my parents decided to ship me off to California to live with my Aunt. It's safe to say I was murderous when they told me. I was one year away from graduating. I never wanted to move to America as their grade system is fucked up. Seriously? Junior, Sophomore? What the fuck? Just say Year 10 and Year 11. Two extra years of school on top of that. Only masochists like that. Plus my Great Aunt is christian as Jesus's fucking blood. You're probably thinking I got sent here for being a typical delinquent or something. Nope. Both my parents are mentally ill, so they thought that they shouldn't be in that kind of environment as it will "affect my future". Bullshit. I'm perfectly fucking normal. Okay, by normal, I mean I don't talk to walls kind of normal. Press play.

I walked out of the arrival gates with my suitcases in tow, glancing around to see my Aunt.

"Melody!" I heard a voice call my name, I look over to see a woman with a large sign with "Melody Miller" in neon marker. I groaned; I hate my name, it's unbelievably cheesy and fairytale like, I tell everyone to just call me Mel but some of my family members refuse. -My Aunt Amy is one of thise family members-

"Amy, just call me Mel." I called, grinning at the hyper woman standing amongst the crowd. We hugged each other before making our way to her car, I lugged my suitcases into the trunk, slammed it shut and collapsed into the passenger seat.

When we got back to Amy's place; she showed me where everything was, helped me to bring my suitcases then disappeared downstairs to make lunch. I was putting away my small selection of clothing when I heard.

"Melody!" Amy's voice called from downstairs, "Lunch's ready!" I made my way downstairs to the kitchen to be greeted by the heavenly smell of Pizza.

"Smells awesome." I grinned, gazing at the massive cheesy pizza before me.

"Thank you." Amy responded cheerily, drying her hands, she looked up at me and her smile dropped. "In the name of the lord, Melody, what are you wearing?" I glanced down at my oversized black jumper with the words "TRASH TALK" printed across the front.

"A jumper?" I bit my lip mischievously.

"Yes, but you're not wearing anything else." she reprimanded, "Get something else on."

"I will." I smiled, "After Pizza."

"You better." she sighed, before we both sat down and grabbed several slices of pizza each.

After lunch I jogged upstairs to finish unpacking, I pressed play of on my playlist and Pierce the Veil began blaring, I grinned wide then opened my window as wide as I could reach. Oh the joys of being short as fuck. I turned and finished putting away the last of my clothing as How to be a Heartbreaker came on. I began to sing along to the lyrics, turning up the volume.

"How to be a Heartbreaker!" I sang, beginning to dance a choreography I had made up a long time ago. "Boys they like a little danger..." I dropped low and started to rise up. I suddenly heard someone choking, I shot up and spun on my heel to look at the source of the noise. I squinted at the blur outside of my windowsill before resorting to grabbing my glasses. "Oh, and she's a fucking hipter, kill me now." the blur's voice groaned sarcastic. I looked over to see the most beautiful human I had ever seen on the planet.

His tousled hair was brown shimmering gold as the sun hit it, his eyes were a dark, deep chocolate colour and his skin was golden. His lips were in a smirk as he scanned my body.

"You know, white doesn't suit a person with such dance moves." his lips morphed into an evil grin, like there was a inside joke I wasn't aware of. I looked at him blankly for about a minute before realising what he meant. My face heated up and my eyes widened.

"What the fuck?" I screamed, grabbing something heavy and lobbing it out of the window, "Seriously dude? You're fucking creepy, watching someone like that." I deadpanned, crossing my arms.

"Not my fault you were blaring some fucked up music and dancing like a stripper." he shrugged, looking me in the eyes.

"You could've had the decency to stop watching someone who didn't know they were being watched." I snarled, picking up one of my boots and throwing it at Mr. Dude, hitting him straight on the chest.

"Shit. Calm down! What are you so angry about?" he tried to reason as I began to search for something else to throw.

"To hell with this, I'm telling Amy." I announced,

"NO! Oh crap, seriously, I'm sorry! Please don't tell her!" he cried out, beginning to clamber out of his window and into mine.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I screamed in alarm, "You're gonna fall! What the hell, you pervert?" I shouted, I half turned "Amy! Ther-" I was cut of by a hand on my mouth as I was pulled into an embrace. -More like tight hold but whatever-

"Please? Amy will tell my mom, I really don't need you stressing her out." he reasoned in a hushed tone, "And how the hell are you this short?"

"Mfph?" I squealed in disbelief, attempting to shake free, to no avail, his grip was as hard as diamond. I shuffled around to face the intruder, realising how fucking humongous he was, giving him an exasperated look.

"Promise you won't shout?" he said, I nodded in response, to which he released my mouth.

"How am I the one causing stress? You're the one peeping on people in their bedrooms." I hissed, my eyesbrows knitting together,

"Lacey, you better calm down, cause you were the one dancing around in your underwear." he smirked, "I just wish your bra was showing as well..." he sighed, earning a hard punch. "Ow! What the hell? Do you lift or something?"

"Nope." I smiled innocently, before realising what 'Lacey' meant and punching him again, but harder,

"How is something so small, so vicious and strong?" he muttered, rubbing his arm.

"Oh how can someone so good looking be so perverted. Oh well, it's not like it's a new realis-" I stopped mid sentence, remembering someone I didn't want to think about. "Leave."

My voice was so cold I almost shocked myself.

"Hey- what's wrong?" his forehead creased in worry,

"I don't even know you, why would I tell you?" I glared, grabbing him by his t-shirt and dragging him to the window. "Just get the fuck out."

"For someone so cute, your mouth is dirtier than a sailors." he grinned, hope filling his eyes.

"Sweet talk won't do anything, just get out." I growled, pushing him closer to the windowsill.

"How am I supposed to go back that way?" he whined, looking at the gap in disbelief.

"You got in that way, so get out that way." I hissed; turning and grabbing a tee plus some sweatpants and going into the ensuite bathroom to change. I locked the door before slumping down onto the floor. I was both pissed off and sweating. Can't a girl get a break?

Haaaaiiiiii guys, so I basically have just finished writing this and I'm gonna start on a new chapter like straight away! I think the updates for this story will probably be pretty slow as I really want to build the characters and stuff (probably doing a really bad job of it but whatever). So, what do you think mystery man's name is, why did Melody flip out and did you actually understand the subtle *cough* really obvious *cough* innuendos? Thank you for reading (if you have) and please share or vote for this, I'd really like to think people are reading this. If you have any ideas or notes, just tell me, (I'm literally not even going to school atm so just message me or comment) if you think it's going to fast or too slow, please tell me and I'll have a thinky winky. Thank you! Byeeeee
