Chapter 6

Maggie's POV

After our soccer game was over we decided to start a campfire. Shawn had his guitar with him so him, Jacob, and Jack G started to sing summertime sadness slowly. We all sat in a circle. As I looked around everyone looked happy including Shawn who's stares I caught sometimes. Nadya was laying down in Jacobs lap, Matt had his arm around Claudia's shoulder and Estella was leaning on Nash. Out of no where I started to get cold I huddled next to Shawn. He stopped singing and handed the guitar to Jacob. "Are you cold?" He asked me. "Just I little" I giggled. I didn't know what he was going to do. He took of his Hollister hoodie and gave it to me. "What about you? Won't you be cold?" I asked. "I don't care anything for you" he responded. His hoodie smelled like coconut. I looked up into his brown chocolate eyes, and pecked him on the cheek. "OHHHHHHHH" everyone cooed. "Haha very funny guys" Shawn said.

Shawn's POV

After I gave her my hoodie she looked up into my eyes and pecked my cheek . "OHHHHHHHH" everyone cooed. "Haha very funny guys" I said to everyone. Me and Maggie got up and walked away I took her hand in mine. We walked closer to the ocean till the water was splashing over our feet. "I want to tell you something" I said. "Shoot " she said. As I opened my mouth to speak she cut me off. She put her soft lips on mine. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer. I kissed her back. I didn't want to let her go. She pulled away and said "Was that what you were going to say?". I nodded. "Maggie will you be my girlfriend" I asked her. "Of course" she responded and kissed me again. We walked back over to the rest of the group holding each other's hands. I was in love with this summer already.

Maggie's POV

After we walked back over to the group we all were exhausted from this day so we went back to the hotel. Shawn led me to my door and I kissed him on the cheek. Then he went to his room. When I got into the hotel room I jumped in a cold shower. I could hear Claudia in the room. Because there was only two beds per room Estella and Nadya were in a joined room with us. When I was in the shower thoughts rushed to my head. I was kinda surprised with myself. I have never actually fallen in love I guess you could call it so fast. It had probably been like what 10 hours since we met? But it felt so amazing with Shawn. Effortless. I was falling hard. Fuck I was scared that he would break me. I had to trust him.
