Steve Rogers stood still in the middle of the crowd, dressed in a gray v-neck shirt and a black pleather jacket. Looking around the crowd he can't help but realize that this party was nothing but utterly pathetic; despite the fact that there were possibly 100 or so of Tony's acquaintances here, which consist of jetsetters, celebrities, and rich entreprenurs.

Yes. Tony set up a whole party at the Avengers Tower just so Steve could get Natasha to sleep with him.

Thing is, Natasha's not even here. In fact Steve gave up hopes of her even showing up until he saw her walk out of the elevator about two hours into the party. She looked beautiful, but then again there wasn't a moment where she wasn't to his eyes. Her eyes scanned the room for some familiarity and when she found him-- who has been looking right at her this whole time, she walked right up to him.

"Hi." Steve stood up from the couch, awkwardly holding onto his empty red solo cup. She was smiling with her red lipsticked lips, her shoulder length hair was messily-- in a very sexy way, let hung by the sides of her face, and she wore a short dark blue dress, a beautiful contrast to her smooth pale skin. It was one of those strapless dresses, leaving her shoulders bare and accented her clavicle; goes without saying that Steve loved the way she looked.

"I barely got time to dress up. Do I look okay?" She asked with genuine shyness to her tone.

"You look lovely." He answered but he felt like the word didn't quite justify just how magnificent she looked. However she seemed satisfied with the answer. "Where've you been?"

The corner of her lip lifted to a sly smile. "It's classified, captain."

Steve rolled his eyes playfully. "Duly noted."

"How long have you been here?"

"A while."

"Good party?"

He shrugged. "It's okay."

"Did you see Sam? Wanda? Vis? Anyone?"

"Saw Vis walked out with Wanda about half an hour ago. Sam couldn't make it, Rhodey's over there--" he pointed to across the room where Rhodey seemed to be enjoying his time surrounded by two pretty ladies, lying on the couch telling some kind of story. Natasha's gaze followed and she laughed. "Good for him."

"One lucky soldier." Steve agreed.

"I'm gonna get a drink. You want anything?"

"Yeah. Sure. Bailey's, on the rocks." He sat back again on the couch, stoic and rigid, suddenly feeling like this whole thing was all wrong. She dissappeared in the crowd heading straight for the bar, and just right then Tony gave him a pat on the back. "Target's here. You remember the moves, cap."

Steve looked at him incredulously. "Have you been watching us?"

"Maybe." Tony smiled smugly. He had a pink cone party hat on his head that made him look so ridiculous. "Anyhow you know what to do. Just like I taught you."

"No I don't and I'm not even sure your plan is even legal."

Tony sighed. "All you have to do is literally just have a smooth conversation with her and keep her coming to the bar. You know why?"

"Cause drunk girls are dumber." Steve repeated what Tony said the other day though he really doesn't quite agree with that saying. He remembered the whole conversation vividly:

"That's rape." Steve looked at him wide eyed while Tony laid out his 'masterplan' to him yesterday.

Tony firmly shook his head. "It's not rape if she consents to it."
