Orchard fruit pie

Ingredients

3 pears (cut into quarter round slices)

200g of raspberry, blackberry and blueberry mix

220g of sifted wheat flour

4 teaspoons of baking powder

175g of butter (room temp)

140g granulated sugar

3 eggs

1/4 cup of milk

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

2. Whip together butter and granulated sugar until it becomes fluffy and creamy.

3. Add eggs (one at the time) and mix further. Then add milk and mix further.

4. It may become separated, but you should fix further until it becomes fluffy.

5. Add the sieved flour and baking powder, mixing lightly using a spatula.

6. When it's mostly mixed put in 2/3 of the pears and mix. When pears are well mixed, lightly mix in the berries.

7. Pour into a mold and after flattening it out put the remaining pears placing them evenly.

8. Bake for about an hour in the oven at 180 degrees.

9. Sprinkle some alcohol (of your choosing) on top but don't make the cake too wet with it.
