Kyle P.O.V

RING! RING!

My phone erupt my ears as I wake up from my sleep.
"This better be good" I threatened in a low voice
"Good morning son, it's nice to hear from you" My father speaks with sarcasm.
"What is it now?" I asked a little annoyed. "Well you see since your brother doesn't wanna own the business once I'm gone, I need to know if you would?" He explained bluntly

I've never thought about running my fathers company nor has my older brother chase, I'm so caught up on in life and I know going out almost every night and sleeping with every beautiful girl I see won't be of help.

"I'd love nothing more but to decline" I spoke unsure of what I want.
"You know, your mother would want thi...."
"Don't you dare speak of her as if you care" I spat cutting him off.
"You remarried the minute she passed away" I spoke with venom in my voice

"Don't act like you cared about what she wanted" I finished not wanting to rehearse her death in my head.

"I truly loved your mother, I just had to move on" I could almost hear him cry.
"You done well with that by moving on with her best friend" I managed to say
"Kyle, I will always love your mother as much as I love you and your brother" I could practically hear my father cry
"Trina (my mothers best friend) was there to comfort me at my lowest moments"

"Oh, so that means you jump straight into bed with her" I stated starting to feel frustrated. I could hear my father groan uncomfortably trying to sum up words

"I'll give you time to think about running the business, come see me when you can" And with that he hung up

My mother passed away 6 months ago on my twenty second birthday, from a car accident, my father was the designated driver but he managed to survived, so parts of me do blame my father, but I know I shouldn't..

I sign in frustration thinking about my mothers death. I ran my hand through my messy brown short hair and headed towards my bathroom where I took a relaxed hot shower, once I was done I grabbed the nearest white towel and begun drying myself while walking to my closet and choosing, a well fitted black suit that hugs my arms perfectly.

Not bad. I thought to myself looking at my reflection through my mirror

I left my room and made my way down stairs to the kitchen, where I came in to contact with my maid Stella, cooking breakfast

"Good morning Stella" I greeted her
"Good morning Mr Stein, I hope your hungry?" She asked serving a plate of eggs and bacon.
"Oh I'm sorry Stella but I'd have to pass this morning" I genuinely said with a smile, while making me a hot cup of coffee to go. I don't like much people but Stella reminds me of my mother which is why I love having her company around.
"Your father rang this morning, he said something about taking over the business?" She asked me more than told which made me chuckle at how clueless she is at times.

"Yup, dad wants me to run the family business" I reassured her, only to see a shocked and happy at the same time Stella.
"I'm so happy and proud of you Mr Stein" she began getting all excited
"Relax Stella, I turned him down" I regretted speaking as I saw hurt in her eyes
"Look, listen to me Mr Stein, I know you, and you need to stop holding all this anger about your mothers death. It wasn't anyone's fault." She looked at me with her big brown eyes full of love that so much reminded me of my mother
