Those nights where we sit alone outside your apartment, those nights when I could brush my hand across you cheeks, those nights where you would lean on my shoulders and feel safe, those nights where you would lay on my bed and fall asleep, those nights where you would tell me about how crazy your day was, about that guy that approached you, and how he wasn't your type, those nights where you kept wondering what I would get you for your birthday. Those were the nights that made me want to hold you in my arms and never let you go, those where the nights I wanted to place my lips on yours, and be entwined in your soul.
