Well, before anybody asks about iambic pentameter, let me just say that I do not understand it whatsoever. With that said, here is my sonnet from my English class. Enjoy it, or don't. It's your call.

I exist, living through each wretched day.
I kid; I do quite enjoy my dull life.
They laugh, and claim they are all okay.
How sad, such lies prove each one lives with strife.
It's true, I have seen that they're all quite dim.
Joyful, they state they found their other half.
Teens cry and groan when losing her or him.
I nod, but don't care. It just prompts a laugh.
However, don't be tricked. I am not cruel.
I have morals, and I possess good will.
Just do what I do; grin, keep calm and cool.
Please don't make mountains out of a molehill.
It's never that bad, so now do you see?
Live calmly, it's as easy as can be.
