Mother's POV
I was in the kitchen preparing some dinner for that afternoon. I had wondered why my daughter hadn't come down to eat yet so I went to check on her. Carefully I hurried up the stairs and found that her door was locked. I yelled at her to open the door but there was no answer. I figured she might've been sleeping but after five minutes of banging on the door my mother instincts told me something was seriously wrong. I ran back downstairs and grabbed my wallet. I took out my credit card and started fiddling with the door until it opened. I ran to her bed and what I saw made my heart drop. My poor little girl had overdosed on pills. The first thing I did was call the police in hopes that it wasn't too late. I collected up all the pills and threw them back into the cabinet. She started drooling and her face was as cold as ice. I knew this wasn't good so I sat next to her and cried on her stomach. My only daughter has taken her own life. My eyes were puffy from so much crying. After 5-10 minutes the paramedics came to take her to the hospital. I rode on the ambulance with her and holding her hand all through the way. My husband had t come back home since the day she had her baby so I was alone.
When we got to the hospital the took her in. I sadly had to stay in the waiting room u too they were done. I didn't keep track of time but it must've been a good 4 hours. I was bored and watching the news on the small televisions which they located there. The doctor came out holding his clipboard in his hands. I stood up signaling for him to tell me if she was going to be ok. He understood and with great sadness shook his head no, implying that she had passed...
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, my baby girl dead too... first her father leaves, then her baby dies, then she dies, everyone's leaving one by one. The was no point in staying there any longer so I headed home...
