Why should I believe you

After that class ended I was debating whether to get the bus or get a ride with Brendon. I decided to get a ride back so I could find out what all of this was about. I needed to know.

I walked to the block where he dropped me off and he was already there. I opened the door and got in and didn't say a word. He set off driving and I decided I should probably talk.

"What the fuck was all that about!"

"Erm..."

"I thought that when it's just us two you wouldn't do anything"

"Yea about that...we weren't alone"

"What do you mean"

"Everyone in the cafeteria was watching I had no choice"

"Okay I can forgive you for that but what about the touching"

"Erm..."

"Did you mean it or did you just say it and do it to hurt my feelings"

"I meant it but I'm sorry I won't do it again"

"You...you really meant it"

"Yea"

"What happened to the fact that I'm unlovable to you"

"Your not"

"Why should I believe you"

"To be honest you shouldn't but I did mean it no matter what you believe"

"Oh...okay"

"Anyways here's the flat you can leave now"

"Do you want to stay over again"

"Really"

"Yea sure come on"

We both got out of the car. Brendon looked really sad. Like he was going to cry. I just felt really confused. We walked up to the apartment and I unlocked the door. I went to the kitchen and Brendon went into the living room. I made two coffees and took them through. I handed one to Brendon and sat next to him.

"You look like your gonna cry"

"No I'm fine. Thanks for the coffee"

"No problem. Now what do you want to talk about"

"Nothing"

"Brendon..."

"Fine...I like you okay"

"Oh"

"Yea"

"I...I like you too"

"Your just saying that so I don't feel bad"

"No I'm not even ask Tyler or Josh"

"You tell them things like that"

"Yea we are best friends"

"But why would you like me I bullied you for over 2 years"

"Cause I had a weird feeling that you weren't like that deep down"

"I don't know what to say"

"I've liked you before you were friends with my brother and before you started to bully me that's how I know that your a good person deep down"

"Yea"

"I started to like you about a year or so ago"

"I'm so sorry about everything"

"I've been thinking...I'm gonna stop being mean cause wit hurts me so much to see the pain I caused. I tried to stop a year ago but your brother threatened me to do it. He said if I didn't then he would come up with some elaborate story about something and frame me"

"Jeez"

"Yea. I'm not going to do anything tomorrow and I don't care if I end up in prison"

"That's a bad idea cause if you go to prison my brother will still do it. At least if you do it you can control it"

"Yea I suppose"

"So you are gonna turn yourself and them into the principal"

"I'm not following"

"Your going to go to he principal and tell her everything you have done and everything they have done to make you do it"
