Stomach pains

(1 month time skip)

I woke up at 9 am. Why so early. I felt some extremely uncomfortable pains but I couldn't quite pin point where. I blew it off thinking my period was just early. Brendon came upstairs with two coffees and passed one. He sat next to me and started to slowly sip his.

"Hey sadie"

"Yea bren"

"Are you okay"

"I think so"

"You just seemed to be squirming a lot in bed last night and I couldn't wake you"

"Oh I have no idea what happened"

"Do you have any pains"

"Kinda"

"What do you mean"

"I can feel this pain in my lower abdomen"

"Mhm"

"I can't exactly place where it is though"

"Hmm?"

"It keeps moving and when I think I've found where it is it dissappears"

"That's weird. We should take you to see a doctor to make sure it's nothing serious"

"It's nothing bad it's probably just my period early"

"Sidney these aren't normal symptoms"

"It's not like there's anything else it could be"

"Hmm"

"What's hmm meant to mean"

"Nothing let's just go to the doctors"

"Urgh fine"

I got up and dressed into some simple clothes. The pains kept increasing. I sat on the sofa and layed down. The pain was too bad to stand. Brendon rushed over and tried to get a response from me but I passed out.

I woke up in a bright white room. Everything was blurry. I tried to look around the room and saw a figure sat next to me. They were crying. My vision started to clear up and I noticed the figure was brendon. Why was brendon crying.

"B...b...brendon"

"Oh my god Sidney you're awake"

"Why...why we're you crying"

"I was scared for you"

"Why...what happened"

"We were going to the doctors because you had some pains in your lower abdomen and you collapsed on the sofa"

"How long have you been here"

"Since I brought you here when you collapsed"

"How long have I been here"

"3 days"

"3 days?!"

"Yea"

"What so long...what's happened to me"

"Well...I don't know how to say this without upsetting you"

"Just say it I need to know"

"You...you had a-"

"Had a what"

"A...a-"

"Just tell me...please"

"A miscarriage"

"A what?!"

"A miscarriage"

"But how"

"I dont know...that's all the nurse told me"

"Oh"

"Are you upset about all of this"

"Well...I don't know. We didn't know about the baby and we didn't plan it so in a way we lost something we never knew we had"

"Yea I guess but the fact that we created a person a d now that person is gone forever is a little distressing"

"Maybe it's natures way of saying were not ready"
