Understanding the Enderman

Now, this is a little theory to try understanding one of my two favorite monsters (the enderman and the slime). Now, the last theory that I made consisted of the enderman and the Ender Dragon (my favorite boss), so I decided to continue on the enderman subject.

If you go to the End, you'll see that the endermen thrive there. And it amazes me that they can be so happy under that black sky.

First, let's try to figure out where they are. If you look at Endstone, it kinda looks like the surface of the moon. This makes me think that this is set on a moon. But not our moon. If it is the moon of the Overworld, the Endstone would be white instead of yellow, and the moon would be falling apart, practically throwing pieces into the atmosphere to destroy the Overworld! Thankfully, this is not the case. Instead, whatever the source of gravity is in the End isn't going to let it happen. Instead, all those individual floating islands are kept in place and not moving. However, it could also be a random giant comet that has some source of gravity keeping it somewhat in place.

Now, what about the End City? Where is that? And why do we have to go through that small portal in order to go to it? Is it that far? Or is it on a separate "moon"? Now, the answer may not be that obvious, but I think that there's a large gap between where the actual End is and the End City. Why? Because of the blocks. They all have Endstone, which hints that it's either on the same surface as the other or the original End split in half, making a connection between the two sides by the residents. And with both sides connected by the reletives, they may have made that small portal in hopes that a player won't fall in and ruin it. Sadly, that means you have to throw that darn ender pearl into that one block portal.

Now, let's get to the enderman itself. First, are we dealing with a mammal or a reptile? At first glance, it's not really easy to see it, but if you look really closely, you can see that these guys don't have scales, and an enderman does have the ability to shake, which is not normal in reptiles. And even though it appears that there is no hair, even the naked mole rat has fur, but the fur is so thin that the rat looks like it doesn't have anything. That, and if they aren't, they would easily get fried in the desert and turn into an icicle in the taiga. So we can officially say that this is a mammal.

Now, let's talk about heat. Remember my last theory? "In order to make their body's adapt to this ability, they might need to have skin that can easily tear apart and come back together easily." Now, with the idea that their skin has some type of material that can easily tear apart and come together, they might have holes small enough to not hurt them, but it could help with absorbing heat. And if there's too much heat, the holes can be covered up to take less heat in than what they used to.

Now, what about the heat source? I only know two possible sources: the crystal and the rod. They both make light, and most likely, they make heat. Heck, the tyrant of a dragon uses the crystals as a healing source! If this is the case, then it has energy inside it. And energy will most likely make heat. Heat and light makes life.

And what about food? Most of you would shout "chorus fruit", but the only problem is that this fruit hasn't come around until recently. Unless those from the city were trading the fruit over to loved ones, the only source that I can think of is the Ender crystal itself. That's their main source of life. And destroying the crystals to defeat the Ender Dragon also restricts their lives.

How does this help them survive in the Overworld and the Nether? They survive off heat and light. That's all they need to survive. And that is why they are the ultimate survivors of the minecraft universe. And they are only one step behind the player!

What keeps them from overpowering the player? The one thing that they don't have that we do: independence. They are used to being under control. And when we defeat the dragon, we have somewhat taken the dragon's place, but since you are not part of the End family (or are we as the player?), we can't give orders or anything to them, but instead absent-mindedly give them freedom of, well, anything. And with their lack of adaptation, they do everything the exact same way. Though what they can do is build more of those fancy cities and make an elytra workshop to where we can learn how to create them and use them, almost replacing the Ender Dragon. In my opinion, we should have the ability to learn their language and get them to do chores and hatch the Ender Dragon offspring to show that you can even control those giant creatures, just so you can turn into the King/Queen of the End and save your world from mass invasion of the Overworld and Nether.
