We've all seen the skeleton kill a player much better from a distance than a zombie can while chasing the player. But now is the time to think about it.
How is it that the skeleton outdoes the zombie? Shouldn't it be the other way around? After all, it appears that the skeleton doesn't have a brain, and the zombie does.
Except that the skeleton is more advanced and seemingly wiser than the zombie.
Why, you must ask? Because of their choices of weapon and what they do and don't have. A zombie chosen to chase after the player while the skeleton steals the show by shooting the player with arrows.
It also demonstrates wisdom, in a sense. Before people in our world used bows, they would use spears before then. Now, those who have tried throwing a spear knows that it's difficult to just throw it a short distance without it landing on its side. It takes great precision, hand stability, and just pure strength to make a great strike on an animal, if you plan to throw it. And before that, you would have to chase their prey before they can have meat to eat. The fact that skeletons are advanced in technology compared to the zombie actually shows that the skeleton has learned this.
That's also why there are no baby skeletons. That's because the skeleton is like the elder of the zombie.
And this also explains how they don't have flesh on them. They have rotted away to nothing but bones, literally.
But now let's expand more on the skeleton. If they don't have muscles, how are they able to move, let alone pull back the string of the bow?
Now, they, of course, have to have ligaments to keep their bones from falling away from each other, but what about muscle? I have no clue, to be honest, but I do know something about the bows themselves that seem to scream the answer. They always are used to the point of being almost completely broken.
What do I think of this? I think this is their way of coping with lack of muscle. If they have a damaged bow, they have a weak bow. And if it's weak, it's easier to pull back and shoot an arrow.
But why are they hunting players instead of animals? Simple. They have the desire to be living again. They desire flesh, and the only way to do this is to kill the player. Except there's a problem with this. The moment a player dies, they go up in a puff of smoke. This leaves both the skeleton and the player unhappy. But the skeleton us desperate enough to watch the only way to gain liveliness go up in smoke. Or is it like that? Do they really get what they want? Highly unlikely. If you die near your spawn after dying from a skeleton, the skeleton is still there, hungry for flesh.
So maybe the next time you run into a skeleton, try giving it a little sympathy, since it may just want to be like you. And same thing with bullies. They just want to be you, after all.
And there you have it. Another Wild Theory has been created before your eyes!
