Here I was yet again, being shoved into a locker. It was normal, at least for me.
I was one of those teens. A Loser. Yep, that was my label.
It's who I am. I'm not the cheerleading Captain or the Prom Queen. I was me, a Loser, a Nerd, Nothing.
My names Tori Bell Timmons. I hated my name. It was a 3 year olds name. I had blonde hair and green eyes. I was skinny but had a few curves. Nothing to brag about though.
I grabbed my scattered papers and books from the floor and stood up straight as I pushed my square glasses back up the bridge of my nose. I walked over to my locker and shoved several items in and replaced them with my shoulder bag and car keys.
Finally the day was over and I could go home, where I belonged.
"Tori! Wait up!" I heard a high pitched voice yell through the noise of the crowded hall. I slammed my locker shut and looked down the hallway. I could see a pair of strawberry blonde pigtails bouncing through the oncoming students.
After battling with the crowd, Emma Pickett, my best friend, stood in front of me. She was a very short girl. Measuring a small 5 feet tall. Her once perfect pigtails were now loose and strands of her hair were sticking out. I smirked at her as she smoothed out her plaid skirt.
"Ready?" I asked her as I held my keys up in the air. She quickly nodded her head and we started walking out of the halls that were almost empty.
"So today Chase was as hot as ever." She blurted out on our way to my car. I rolled my eyes at her attitude.
"His pants were tight and his hair was slicked back giving him the perfect lo-" I cut her word vomit off.
"Okay, I get it. He looked good." I finished as we stopped at my car. It was an Orange '67 VW Beetle. Not much but she was a beauty.
Chase Evans was labeled as the second most popular guy in school. The first was Ash Kenton. I despised him with a passion. He thought the world of himself. But when I thought of him, I got a weird feeling in my stomach. I always shook it off and ignored it.
I pulled away from the school and drove home with the thought of Ash in the back of my mind.

"So what do you think?" Emma asked as she did a fashion walk out of the changing room. She flipped her hair as she did a pose in front of me which caused me to laugh. She had on a pair of high waist shorts and a crop top with the word geek on it. How typical. It was totally in her lane.
"It's perfect." I told her as I clasped my hands together in victory. Emma begged me to do some last minute shopping with her. She had her mind on impressing Chase.
After she changed back into her clothes she grabbed my hands and dragged me into the changing room then threw an outfit at my face and practically slammed the door on me. I groaned at her but changed into the outfit. When it was on I was actually Impressed. She chose denim suspender shorts with an American flag shirt underneath.
I walked out of the room and stood awkwardly in front of her. When her eyes saw me they literally popped out of her head.
"You look amazing!" She screamed, jumping up and down like the 5 year old she was inside. I laughed as I adjusted my glasses and slid a stray piece of blonde hair behind me ear. Just then, Courtney Bullock walked in with her clique of freaks.
I wanted to run and hid from them. They made my life a living hell. She was Ash's girlfriend and she was a snobby, stuck up...hoe. There was no lie in that.
She glanced my way and immediately smirked evilly at me. I gulped and walked back into the changing room and changed as fast as I could. When I came out, Emma was rolling her eyes at her and her friends. I grabbed Emma's arm with my free hand as I held my clothes in the other.
"Hey Tori Bell, what'd you get? A thong in hoped it'd make you feel good?" She asked then started laughing like a hyena.
I turned around and looked at her, "No I got a piece of shut the Fuck up!" I yelled and walked to the check out. She and the others stopped laughing and sent me death daggers.
I ignored the rest of her snobby comments as I left the store with Emma in tow who was completely shocked at what I told Courtney. I knew it would only make things worse between us.
Just what I need.
