My Sunshine

Normally Kuroo would be walking to his sixth period science class with Kenma. Not running away from his school with the rest of the panicked students as the fire alarm blared in the background. Moments ago he was fine, so was everyone else around him. But in just a minute everyone seemed to have heard the same warning. The one that was not heard with the ears but as if a voice had slipped into each of their minds and spoke to them at once.

But hey, it wouldn't surprise him if in a school full of mutants there was a telepath. But right now Kuroo had bigger things to worry about, especially if the warning the voice had given them was true. So right now Kuroo had his had tightly clasped with Kenma's as they ran. Now let's go back a few minutes to find out what lead to these events.

—-5 minutes earlier—-
Kenma yawned lightly as he leaned against the wall, waiting for Kuroo to met him for science. He wanted to take out his DS to play a game to pass the time. Kenma knew better though, with just a quick glance around he could spot two teachers heading his way. The blonde knew if he took out his DS and they saw, they would take it way.

Kenma looked around the area again to see his spiky haired friend approaching.
"Sorry about that. Mrs.Darb was being a pain and kept dragging on about her son." Kuroo apologized. Kenma simply shrugged and began walking forward.
"Don't be late next time. I was about to scan for you." Kenma replied. The black haired male laughed lightly.
"Oh? You were really gonna use your gift just to find me?" Kuroo said smugly. Kenma simply rolled his eyes in response and continued walking, avoiding the others in the crowded hallway the best he could.

Kuroo opened his mouth to say something to the shorter male but he then he could of sworn he heard a small 'click' in his head. Kuroo stopped walking and looked around, only to see all the other students had done the same. The black haired male raised an eyebrow and turned towards Kenma to see him standing there with the same confused expression. The hallway was dead silent, till Kuroo heard a voice in the back of his head speak.
'Danger. Escape here. These people...this was a trap. Run, they'll kill you. They plan to. Run. Three, two...' The voice stopped and the fire alarm began blaring. The hall instantly bursted into madness. Students let out panicked cries and ran in ever direction.

Kuroo's hand latched onto Kenma's wrist and he began running down the hall.
"Please tell me you heard that voice too." Kuroo asked his shorter friend. Kenma nodded his head in response.
"Yeah, whatever it was, we need to go." Kenma said. Kuroo nodded and turned a corner.
"The staff garage is down here, let's take a car and get out of here." Kuroo suggest. Kenma's eyes widened.
"We're stealing a car?!" He whispered loudly in shock. Kuroo smile innocently.
"If those people really wanna kill us, let's not give them any advantages." He replied.

The pair continued running till one of the guards suddenly turned around the corner.
"Hey! This area isn't for students!" He yelled at them. The two stopped running and glanced at each other nervously. Kuroo put a hand behind his back and began to form a fire ball. Kenma tensed up a bit and turned towards the wall. Kuroo looked at the wall as well and soon heard the distant 'thump, thump.'
"Are you listening? You two need to come with me!" The guard shouted. He opened his mouth again but two figures suddenly fazed through the wall. The taller one of the two didn't seem to stop in time and accidentally ran into the guard.

Kuroo instantly recognized the spiky white and black hair and smiled.
"Bad guy!" Kuroo shouted to Bokuto. Bokuto's skin turned a silver color and he punched the guard in the face. The black haired male chuckled at the little trick they had used for years and turned towards Akaashi who was slumped against the wall.
"Bokuto. I think that's all the fazing I can do for today..." He panted out. Kuroo waved to the two.
"Nice to see you're alive." Kuroo hummed out.

Bokuto turned to his friend and smiled back before going over to help Akaashi up.
"I'm guessing you two heard the creepy warning as well?" Bokuto replied.
"Seems everyone did." Kuroo said with a light shrug. "We're stealing a car and getting the fuck out of here. Wanna join?" Kuroo asked. Bokuto and Akaashi  exchange glances briefly before responding.
"Sounds better than being locked up here and getting killed." Bokuto chuckled.
