After awhile of driving around and looking, they managed to find a decent motel for the night. Bokuto and Akaashi were getting a room while the other three waited in the car. Kenma had been showing Tobio some of the games on his DS to distract him from the pain in his thigh. Kuroo was looking out the window for any signs of the people that had attacked them. The two men soon returned to the car.
"Our room is on the second floor. Room 34." Akaashi explained. Bokuto proudly held up a bag.
"They had a small shop so I bought us some stuff." He hummed out. Kuroo chuckled lightly and got out of the car. Tobio bit his lip and scooted towards the door and let Kuroo pick him up. The shorter male winced in pain but stayed silent.

Kenma and the others grabbed whatever the could from the car before heading upstairs towards their room. Bokuto unlocked the door and quickly placed his stuff down on the table.
"Not bad." He said. The room wasn't much. Two Queen sized beds, a small square TV and a bathroom. Kuroo placed Tobio down on the mattress and stretched.
"At least it's clean." Kuroo huffed out before sitting down. Kenma nodded in agreement before sitting down next to Tobio.
"So what did you get?" The blonde asked. Bokuto reached into the bag and began laying stuff out onto the bed.

"I got Tobio some clothes. Since walking around in a hospital gown would draw attention. I got us a pair of scissors to give him a hair cut." Bokuto explained. Tobio reached up and gently touched his long hair. Bokuto smiled and continued. "I also bought us some ramen to eat." Bokuto said. Kuroo nodded in approval.
"Good haul, now can we figure out what the hell just happened back there?" Kuroo suggested. The others nodded.

Kenma looked over at Tobio who was staring blankly at the sheets.
"Tobio, do you know what happened back there?" Kenma asked. Tobio slowly lifted his head up to meet the others gaze.
"I'm sorry..." He apologized. "My fault." Tobio said quietly. Akaashi stepped forward and gave him a confused look.
"What do you mean?" He asked. The blue eyed male couldn't seem to meet the gaze of Akaashi.
"If I hadn't tried to tell...you wouldn't have to run."He confessed. Kuroo's eyes widened.

"So you were the telepath that told everyone." He mumbled to himself. Tobio looked down in shame.
"I'm sorry..." He repeated. Kenma rubbed Tobio's back.
"Hey you don't need to apologize." Bokuto assured. "If what you said was true, we would have been stuck there just waiting for those asshole's to kill us." He said, trying to lighten the mood. Akaashi sat down on the other mattress.
"If what he said was true, the school was just really a trap for us all along. Who knows how many students didn't...get out in time." Akaashi said with a grim look.

Kuroo sighed lightly and looked out the window.
"Speaking of students, all of them are in danger. The school or whatever that place is supposed to be is probably hunting down the ones who escaped right now, starting with us most likely." Kuroo sighed. Bokuto huffed quietly.
"I think you guys are missing the big picture here." He began. "Tobio here isn't some student we helped escape. Did you forget those people called him 'experiment one'? We found him bleeding in a parking garage and those guards tried to kill us over him. I'm not saying we shouldn't have helped him, but he isn't one of us." Hide Bokuto hissed out with crossed arms.

Tobio hid his face in his arms and Akaashi shot Bokuto a glare.
"Stop it Bokuto, You're upsetting him." The black haired male ordered. Bokuto sighed heavily and rubbed his temples.
"Look I'm sorry, but you guys gotta admit this has been a odd fucking day." Bokuto said with a sigh. Kuroo nodded in agreement.
"We can ask Tobio questions when he's more comfortable. Right now all we know is that the people back there really want us dead as long as we have him. So our first priority is making him unrecognizable." Kuroo argued. Tobio lifted his head in confusion.
"Unrecognizable?" Tobio mumbled.

Kuroo nodded and turned towards Akaashi.
"You're the best with stuff like this. Can you help Tobio out?" Kuroo asked. Akaashi nodded and got up from the bed.
"I'll do what I can. Starting with a bath." Akaashi replied as he looked over Tobio's grime covered body. He slowly approached the male that was sitting on the bed. "Tobio, will you come with me so you can get cleaned up?" He asked. Tobio slowly nodded and moved towards Akaashi. Akaashi did his best to pick the male up, though he wasn't as strong as Kuroo.
