Zima was getting ready for school as Aki was still asleep. This time Shea didn't wake them up in the most obnoxious way. Zima had Umi wake her up without disturbing Aki. Shea was waiting downstairs this time, they were going to eat breakfast here so they wouldn't have to worry about being late again. 

As Zima finish tying up her ponytail in front of the mirror, she heard a groan from behind her. She turned around and noticed Aki starting to wake up. He was rubbing his eyes and sitting up. Zima smiled softly and walked over to him. 

"Morning," she said and she sat on the edge of the bed, next to him.

He mumbled morning back and fell back on his on the bed exhausted. "How come Shea's not jumping on the bed today?" He asked.

"I told her to quit with that, shes downstairs, we're about to get breakfast and head out," Zima reach for Aki's hand and held it. "Should we wait for you so you can eat with us, and I could go downstairs and get going?" Zima asked.

"No its fine," he replied groggily. "Get going you don't want to be late." Aki turned to his side, still letting Zima hold onto his hand. 

Zima gave him a kiss on the cheek and got up, "Alright see you later, and don't be so grumpy all Shin and Shea do are complain about your attitude in the council meetings." Zima said while heading towards the door.

"Yea, yea" Aki replied back. He heard the door shut and suddenly felt this unbarring loneliness again. 

He got up and went to change. All he has been thinking about lately was doing his best to not be so demanding. This idea of friendship that Zima put in his head, he wanted that. The way Shea and Zima laughed with each other and went places. He wanted that. All the friendships that he had before he became emperor he ruined. He missed having someone to laugh with, having someone to have a drink with. 

'I just don't know how to talk to people,' he thought to himself. As he was collecting his thoughts a knock came from the door.

"Come in!" He yelled. The door creaked open and it was Umi. 

"Yes Umi what is it?" He said sternly.

"Breakfast is ready for you downstairs, Master Shin is also downstairs," Umi said. 

Aki nodded his head, "alright I will be there," He got up slowly and made his way downstairs. He saw Shin sitting at the table along with plates that had some leftover food on it. It most of have been Zima's and Shea's breakfast, before they left. 

Aki sat down in the chair and sighed. 

Umi later came behind him placing a plate of food in front of him and then leaving with the dirty dishes that Shea and Zima left behind.

When Zima told him back on their honeymoon that he should try to talk to him siblings, he took the advice and tried but neither sibling replied to the letter the Aki made Shin write to them. Aki really wanted to see what is sibling has been up too. Its been almost two years since he last seen them. 

Aki groaned feeling frustrated thinking about them and suddenly wasn't hungry anymore, after only two bites. Aki got and went to change in his more formal clothes to get ready for the day, a few hours of meetings, and doing paperwork. But there was one person he wanted to get in touch with. It's been 5 years since he last spoken to him. Aki wasn't sure how to contact him, but with Shin and Shea's help they could hunt him down. 

After Aki put on a more formal Kimono on, he went downstairs and then outside to an awaiting carriage. Once he stepped in he ordered the ninja directing the carriage to take him to Master Shin's office. The ninja nodded and they took off.
