Chapter 20

Eleni's POV

Liam and I were enjoying our lovely picnic occasionally kissing and feeding each other it was perfect.

"Eleni Liam we have to go" Megan walked up looking pale.

"What why"Liam and I asked. Awww we are so in sync.

"There's been an accident" Harry phrased carefully. All the blood drained from my face that sentence is never good news. Like "oh there's been an accident you've accidentally been given a. million dollars!!" That never happens.

"Who" I whispered barely audible.

"Scarlet......s-hes b-been attacked" Megan choked out bursting into tears. No more words needed to be said we all rushed back to the hotel and rode the limo to the hospital. The whole limo ride all of us were biting our nails, praying, hoping, and denying. I mean this is Scarlet we are talking about her attacked?!?! no way! She taught us all self defense and she's always so careful. My guess was that she was to busy protecting us she forgot about her self. Eleni and I always thought she was untouchable. But I guess everyone believes in God till you see him bleed. (Quote from Iron man 2!!) 

At the hospital we found a sobbing Niall, a pacing Zayn and the most heart breaking sight ever a crying Louis. It was sad because Louis is always so happy.

"How is she" Megan and I demanded.

"She's in surgery Jared hit her head pretty hard with the bear bottle and she lost a lot of blood" Zayn replied soberly.

"JARED" Megan, Harry, Liam and I all yelled.

"Yes he attacked her" Niall cried.

"I knew he was a rat" Megan clenched her hands into fists.

"Explain the whole story" I ordered.

"Well Scarlet had run into the restaurant first and saw Jared kissing some sl#t. Scarlet started yelling and Jared told her he was only using her for her fame. She asked why he would do this he said he had been cheating on her for a week to satisfy himself and that she was useless. Then he hit her on the head with a beer bottle. So she kicked him in the shin causing him to fall and push a large piece of glass into her arm" Zayn managed to explain. I covered my moth with my hand and made a choked sobbing sound. Megan was nonbinding Harry's chest and Harry let a few tears slip. Liam rubbed my back in a comforting manner but it didn't help. We where all heartbroken.

~2 days later~

Scarlets POV

Where was I?

Who was I?

What happened?

Why does my head hurt?

All these questions swirled in my brain. I pried my eyes open to see a white ceiling. It was bright in this room and it smelled of disinfectant. I had an IV in my right arm and my left one was wrapped up in a white bandage. I touched my head to find it wrapped up to.

"I bet your just now realising how stupid you are. How easy it was for me to play you. Your not the strong girl they say you are your worthless" Jared spat.

Oh that's what happened. Suddenly I don't want to remember anything at all. I wish I could forget. Jared was right how was I so stupid!!! I spend all my time protecting others I can't protect myself I'm weak!! I held my head in my hands and I just cried and cried. After hours my tears were all spent I couldn't cry anymore. Instead I wrote all over my arm and legs. I just wrote whatever came to mind. Once all my arm and legs were covered some one opened the door. I barely turned my head I didnt have to to know the person was shocked beyond words.

"Scarlet" Eleni walked right in front of me. I didn't answer I just started at her blankly.

"Scarlet please say something" Megan begged. Not a word came from my mouth.

"Okay if your not talking in a scale of one to ten how do you feel" Eleni asked. I made my hand a zero and held it up.

"Oh" was all they could say.

"Well I'm sorry about the whole incident I'm sorry about the whole night" Megan rubbed my shoulder.

"I'm sorry too we should have been there" Eleni sighed.

"No I'm responsible I should have stopped him" Niall walked in.

"We all are Niall, Louis and up should have stopped him. Instead we just stood and watched it was pathetic" Zayn muttered. I shook my head.

"It is it fault" Louis insisted. I shook my head again and pointed to myself.

"It's not you fault" Harry said. I just shook my head again and pointed to myself.

"It's not" Liam said. I banged my fist on the bedside table and shook my head again and continued pointing to myself.

"But-"

I held up my hand and paused the then pointed to the door. They  got the message and walked out.
