[ Shows the entire vacation house in flames ]

[ Derek, Avery, Liam, West and Carly stand outside ]

West: Soooo... how much did you really pay for this house?

[ Everybody looks at her ]

I've never been the girl who does things for attention or became someone I wasn't just to impress a guy. I've also never been the girl to say yes to a vacation with her schizophrenic family and socially impaired pug. But hey, look at me now.

[ Shows the plane landing ]

[ West and her entire family walking through the airport ]

Daniel (DAD): aw come on guys lighten up! It's HAWAII!

Carly (ANNOYING LITTLE SISTER): Yeah dad but we come here every single year for our stupid "annual family" blah blah BLAH.

Liz (MOM): Carly.

[ Carly rolls her eyes and goes back to her phone ]

Carly: *whispers* what? It's true...

Daniel: I know Westenia is excited! Riiiight?

West (ME, OBVI): Dad it's "West". I told you I stopped being "Westenia" when my boobs came in and I discovered what tampons were.

[ Daniel covers Carly's ears ]

Daniel: West! Language.

West: You do realize that— never mind.

I'll let him figure it out on his own.

[ Shows everyone getting into a taxi van and the car starts driving down the road showing the beaches ]

This view would be amazing, if I hadn't have seen it like a million times.

Carly: Mom, what's a... "Brazilian Wax"?

Liz: *chokes on her coffee* what??

Carly: Kim K says that if you wanna be your "true glamorous self", you had to start by "mowing the lawn". I don't see how yard work is gonna make you glamorous but it's Kim Kardashian, what she says doesn't have to make sense.

Liz: Honey.. I'll tell you when you're 18 okay?

Daniel: Well by that time she'll be so informed about the world she'd know what I was talking about if I said the word "fisting".

West: Ew dad!

Liz: Daniel!

Carly: What's fis-

Liz: Nothing!

[ The taxi arrives to a vacation house right by the beach ]

[ Liz and Daniel get out of the taxi arguing while West walks over to the edge of the beach and sees a guy surfing. She starts biting her lip ]

Oh. Oh wait you think I'm crushing on that kid?? Psh as if! Why... w-why would I be... crushing on... Derek Chambers 😍😍😍😍. *romantic music cuts* he's sooooo not my type.

Derek and I have been coming to this exact same vacation spot for like 6 years now. His family knows my family. We're practically siblings... *hopeless sigh*

[ Derek looks up at West and she waves at him, he waves back ]

I'm sorry but just the mere thought of him and me together just makes me melt. But I'm trying so hard not to like him... even though he's-

West: so cute.

Carly: Who is?!

[ West jumps in fear ]
