Laf's POV~
I still can't get over how Herc's actually.... off to war. I'm not mad.... just, sad. Upset. We've talked. We're not mad. But he can't come back now. Not until it's over. I miss him. His eyes... dammit.... get on focus Laf. I snap myself out of my trance and looked at John, who was waving his hand in front of my face. "Laffy? You Alright..?" John sat down next to me, hugging me from the side. I sigh and pat his head, hugging him back. No one was in the dorm(apartment) at the moment except for us. Alex was at work, and he was supposed to come home one hour ago. I lay down on my bed, pulling John down with me to the point where we were cuddling. He lays his head on my chest, looking up at me softly with those big emerald green deer eyes. I giggle softly, smiling at him. He scooted up closer to me, our noses touching. I forgot everything at this moment. Herc being gone, and Alex dating John. Just as our lips were about to connect, the front door opened, and we quickly scrambled off eachother. He giggles and winks at me, scrambling off the bed and running into the living room, yelling, "Lexxiiii!! You're hooommee!!"
Alex's POV~
I smile as I engulf my John in my arms, hugging him tightly. It was a fake smile though. I had just got informed that I have to take a 2 week trip to England, for my work. I was so upset that I actually tried to take off. Didn't work. I kiss Johns head softly and smile down at him, to see him giggling softly. I look back up to see Laf trudge out of his room, his face flushed. "Hey Laf? You alright...? You're really red... are you sick?" I spoke softly. Laf shook his head, going over to the kitchen to probably make coffee. I pick up John bridal style and set him on the couch,kneeling beside it and touching noses with him. He giggled and kissed me softly. I kiss back but pull back softly, my smile fading. "Hey um... John.. I have to tell you something.." I murmured. His head perked up, worry spread across his face. "...yes..?" He whimpered. Laf came over and sat down on the couch next to John, also listening in. "I-um.. just got told that I will have to leave... for a business trip... it's only two weeks! But um... I'm sorry John and Laf... it's just, I can't miss this opportunity.." I say hesitantly. John jumps up and tackles me, crying heavily into my shoulder. I hug him tightly and caress his hair, shushing him softly, "I'm sorry love.... I'm sorry Laffy..." Laf climbs down and joins the hug, is all being in one giant group hug.
"It's okay.... I'll take care of John... nothing will happen that you will have to worry about."
"...nothing?"
"Nothing at all..I promise..."
