Your P.O.V
A few weeks have passed since my first date with Taehyung. We have been doing quite well so far, Jungkook hasn't seen to have done anything to disturb us.
In fact now that I think about it, Jungkook hasn't really been doing anything at all. He just comes to work and leaves, I never see him with Ye Seul or with anyone actually. It's like he's just living day by day without emotion, not really living even, just getting by I guess...
A buzz snapped me out of my thoughts as I received a text from Dr Kim.
' Jungkook will be working with you now,' - Kim Namjoon
Wasn't he working with Ye Seul? I wonder why he transferred over...
I was to meet him at the operating room in 10 minutes, so I started making my way there.
I saw Jungkook walk up to me and I smiled at him.
"Hey, seems like we're working together again huh?" I said trying to start a conversation.
He smiled a little before getting ready for the operation. Why wouldn't he talk to me. Was I too harsh shouting at him that time? Guilt started seeping into my thoughts as I thought of why he could've been so sad.

We were done with the operation and decided to get lunch together and catch up.
"So how are you and Ye Seul?" I asked as we sat down.
" Oh, we're doing ok I guess," he replied.
We continued to talk but I could see that he was holding back. I decided to get straight to the point,
"Jungkook, are you ok? You don't seem like yourself,"
"I just... I just feel like I can't talk to you since you have a boyfriend and you know about my feelings..." He admitted.
" Oh I didn't know. But we're still friends right?" I said flashing him a smile, trying to lighten up the mood.
He smiled back seeming visibly more comfortable after that. I stretched out my hand as I said,
"Why don't we start as friends again?"
He hesitated a little before smiling and shaking my hand accepting my offer, much to my delight.
Jungkook's P.O.V
Hae Eun and I grabbed lunch together. I had been transferred over to her and that made me both happy and sad. I was happy to be around her, but sad to be constantly reminded of what I can't have.
We ate and talked when Hae Brought something up
" Oh I didn't know. But we're still friends right?" She said flashing a cute smile that just reminded me of why I loved her.
The feelings for her burst out of thee box I had put them in in the back of mind.
Were we still friends? I didn't want to say anything so I just smiled at her, hoping she would confirm if we were still friends.
"Why don't we start as friends again?" She said as she stretched out her hand for me to shake.
Friends? I hesitated.
I want to have more than that
But having something was better than nothing right? Surely I would be able to control my feelings and remain as just friends. Right?
So I grabbed her hand and shook it, giving her a smile. A warm smile formed on her lips as it warmed and melted the frost that had formed on my heart.
We both received a text at the same time.
Dr Kim Namjoon:
Please arrive at my office in ten minutes. You will be meeting with me and the CEO.
The CEO? The two of us exchanged confused looks. Why did the CEO want to meet us? Well, I guess there was only one way to find out.

The both of us on walked into the office and bowed to Dr and CEO Kim.
CEO Kim Seokjin was the heir of the hospital. If you were called to meet him, you were either in big trouble or in good luck. I sincerely hoped it was the latter.
"Please sit down, and don't worry, you're not in trouble," he said with a laugh.
Though he was a fierce person at times, he really cared for his employees much like a mother.
"So,I would like to ask if you guys know about the annual doctors conference happening this year?" Dr Kim asked
We both nodded our heads eagerly. Only the best from our hospital were sent there as representatives. Could it be that one of us were selected?
" Well, that's good because... Congratulations Dr Jeon and Dr Lee, you have been selected to go the conference together!" CEO Kim congratulated much to our surprise.
Hae And I exchanged looks of shock. Hae Eyes were wide open, here mouth in the shape of and 'o'.
"You will be traveling to Singapore for a week for this conference together. You will leave next Monday, which is in three days."CEO Kim continued to explain.
"So only the two of us are going?" I asked.
"Yes, I thought I made that clear," CEO Kim said and continued,
"I hope you will do us proud!" His words were much like a proud mother's.
Both Hae Eun and I stood up and bowed as we left the room.
Author's P.O.V
Hae Eun And Jungkook stood outside the room, still processing what happened.
"So I guess we're going to be together for a week?" Hae Eun said as she faced Jungkook.
"Yup just the two of us," Jungkook said as he could not help but smirk at the thought.
'Aish what is this boy smirking for' Hae Eun thought as she got flustered, causing Jungkook to laugh.
"Yah, I have a boyfriend so don't think about doing anything!" Hae Eun said defensively.
"What were you thinking about Hae Eun?" Jungkook teased raising an eyebrow, making Hae Eun even more flustered much to his amusement.
"I-i just... Argh! N-nevermind, I'll see you soon!" Hae Eun stuttered as she fled the scene, leaving Jungkook laughing to himself.
I guess you could look forward to their trip,readers. Because their trip, let's just say that it's going to be...
