Chapter Eight-- He Wasn't Always Like This.
HOOKS POV
We trailed through the forest mainly just wandering around to appear as if we had a plan. I just hoped that Callie came through for us. Sudden a swarm of Lost Boys jumped out from the trees surrounding us.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the rescue group," one boy said.
"Hello Felix," I said coldly recognizing Pans right hand man.
"I bring a message from Pan," he smirked. "Give up! We have your dear friend Callie now. You betrayed her and she's returned the favor,"
"I won't rest until I find my son!" Emma snarled at him. I grabbed her arm gently to make sure she didn't start attacking.
"That's right Hook," Felix chuckled. "Hold your little girlfriend back,"
"She's not-" I started.
"I'm not his girlfriend!" She snapped. Gosh she was attractive when she was angry. Felix smirked again.
"Have fun wondering through the forest!" Felix called lazily walking away. "I'll be sure to tell Pan you're response!"
"Are they gone?" Mary Margret asked as the boys slipped back into the trees.
"For now," I said after taking a glance around. "So far it seems that Callie has done her job," I added.
"Let's just hope she's a better trickster than Pan," Regina scoffs.
"No just a good enough one to trick Pan," I replied. "If she was better than Pan we'd be in trouble,"
"Why?" David asked. You know he really got on my nerves.
"Because mate if she was better than Pan than that probably means she would trick us as well," I said.
"Couldn't she trick us anyways?" Mary Margret asked.
"Probably," I shrugged.
"She won't," Emma said. "I saw the look in her eyes. She wants to help,"
"She wanted to do it because she loves Pan Emma. People do crazy things when they're in love," David said.
"I hate to agree but your father does have a point," I said. Emma rolled her eyes.
"I trust her," Emma said plainly. I just hoped she was right.
CALLIES POV
So far the plan was working. Peter didn't suspect anything and neither did the boys. Of course id only been here a day.
"Hey Cal?" Peter asks walking up to me.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"I wann introduce you to someone," he smiled. He took me over to the edge of camp where Henry was sitting.
"Callie this is Henry, Henry this is Callie," Peter said.
"Nice to meet you," I smiled.
"You too," Henry smiled shaking my hand.
"Talk to him a bit will ya?" Peter asked whispering in my ear. I nodded and he kissed my cheek before walking away.
"Nice to finally see you in person," Henry smirked. I laughed. "Why are you here?" He asked.
"I'm trying to figure out why Peter wants you," I replied. He nodded. Then frowned.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Why do you call him Peter and not Pan?" He asked. I sighed.
"That is a very long story Henry," I said. He scooted forward and leaned his head on his hand.
"The truth is Peter wasn't always like this," I sighed looking over at Peter across the camp. "Neither was the island,"
"Really?" Henry asked. I nodded. "He seems nicer now that you're here," he observed. "More....more like a hero and less like a villain."
"At one time he was a hero Henry," I smiled sadly. "At one time he was simply a lost boy who wanted to always have fun and to never grow up,"
"What happened to him?" Henry asked.
"Well," I frowned. "It's actually the reason I ended up in the enchanted forest and got swept up in your moms curse,"
"You mean like you left him?" Henry asked. "Please Callie tell me!" He begged. I laughed.
"Okay...I'll tell you Henry," I smiled staring at Peter again. "Once upon a time in a land called Wonderland...."
Oooooooo Callie's gonna tell her story!!! Whose excited???
