the picnic

Kats POV

We got into Jasons' black Mercedes,  what a coincidence, a black wolf having a black car...any way we drove to McDonald's and got our food

"So where are we going for the picnic?" gosh im curious...

"its a surprise kat" and he smirked...he knew how curious I am!

"no fair" sulking and pouting always worked...

"No kat please dont spoil this for me, I want it to be a surprise" way to go, I play the sulking game and he plays the 'don't-ruin-this' card

"well playd, fine ill wait" and we drove on in silence but it wasn't uncomfortable as we held hands and spoke through our mind link.

...

"Jason, why are we stopping in the middle of nowhere? " we've been driving for at least an half an hour and now he stops and all I see around the car is...woods...woods...and more woods...not that me being what I am, minded, it was just weird

"Just follow me and you'll see" oh he could have given a little more detail...

we started walking into the woods with our take aways and my wolf just wanted to run this new, unknown territory so I grabbed the basket with our food from jason and shifted before he could protest, taking the basket in my mouth I barked for him to join me

He just laughed at me, yes laughed so I gave him a growl and turned on my heels ready to run, knowing quite well that I didnt know where I was going but I was counting on that knowledge for Jason to shift and show me

just as I predicted a black wolf came running past me, rubbing against me for a millisecond before grabbing the basket out of my mouth and running ahead

"really haha, if its a contest u want ur gonna get one mister!" I sent to him in our mind link pushing my paws harder on the ground running up next to him and nipping at his ears

"oh u wanna race...remember im the only one that knows where im going" oh that cocky ass of a mate..he thinks hes gonna win...he obviously doesn't know how I became the first ever female alpha!

disappearing from sight he stopped dead in his tracks searching for my sent on the ground...haha not gonna catch me that easily...

Jasons' POV

she just disappeared...into thin air...like I was amagining her there a second ago...

"where the hell did u go so fast"

all I heared as a reply was laughter in my mind...fine ill chase her if thats what she wants...

as I came near the clearing I was planning to take her to I see her sitting next to the cave looking at it weirdly with her big wolf head tilted to the right and sniffing the air...

"how the hell did u beat me here?!" I wasn't angry just frustrated...how...?

"for me to know and for u to find out...now tell me whats in the cave...I cant smell anything" she sounded frustrated...good, at least I have one surprise left

I changed back "that I can show u" I held out my hand for her to shift back and take.

I kept my eyes on her face as we made our way through what she thought was a cave but I knew better...
