First of all, allow me this opportunity to express how grateful I am for all your kind words and comments on Judgment. It's thrilling to know that my previous work is so well-loved by so many, and as a long-time writer, it's one of the fondest rewards.
Due to that and also because I felt that more untold sections existed, The Ties That Bind is the direct sequel that carries on a year later.

So what's new? Well, there are a couple more own-made characters in this one, namely Olden Stendarr and Delilah Maven. Olden is a rough-cut bear from Tyvia who is warm, jovial and worldly wise. He's fiercely loyal, an essential trait for any Guard, and woe betide you if you ever piss him off. Delilah is entirely the other way in many respects, a standoffish half-Pandyssian with chips on her shoulder and a self-made barrier of coldness. Both were fun to write and give life too for differing reasons, and I hope you enjoy them.

Also in my Dishonored AU, you may recall a rather cheeky fellow called Billy Lurk? That roguish nature deserves much more of the spotlight imo, so in this work he gets a well-deserved turn. He fast becomes one of the central characters in my little group, as he rightfully should, and also finally gets his fair share of the, uh...rewards! XD

This note section also publically lets you know about adult content and being a sequel, there's definitely lots more of that. More sex, more violence and lots more harsh language. I also want to add that there may be potential triggers in this work because at some points, you will read about depression, death, gore and scenes of torture and rape in detail. I do not censor my creativity, so, my work doesn't hold back. If this is the first thing of mine that you pick up, please heed this warning and read at your own risk.

And finally, this is an Alternate Universe (AU) form of Dishonored. There will be differences, just like in Judgment. Daud is still a lot younger than in the game, Billy Lurk is male and Delilah is...just Delilah, really! As always, I hope that you enjoy reading this as much as I did creating it. Be well :)
